Excellent review Jim, going to mention that the PE set from RB Productions is an excellent add to both the H-0 & H-1. Set is focused on the cockpit and will really enhance that what is already quite good. Kirk

Is it just me, or is this starting to get a little weird?
Iceman replied to Iceman's topic in General Discussion
Lol, now you have me thinking about a apocalyptic F-4 from VMFA-235 "Death Angels" Diorama, the Skull Clan Gals would fit right it. -
Ok, some very odd figure sets have been coming from Masterbox lately, but this one just seems to be a bit over the top. http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-IGyzk4uLMrI/Vk7UorfYd-I/AAAAAAABqNU/CHUuo0yheR8/s640/35122%2BDesert%2BBattle%2BSeries%252C%2BSkull%2BClan%2B-%2BDeath%2BAngels%2B%252814%2529.JPG http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-FjgCKayrgfg/Vk7UZxv9Q_I/AAAAAAABqNI/sO_fpkftoto/s1600/35122%2BDesert%2BBattle%2BSeries%252C%2BSkull%2BClan%2B-%2BDeath%2BAngels%2B%25281%2529.jpg

HPH Models 1:32 Focke Wulf Ta-154 'Moskito'
Iceman replied to JeroenPeters's topic in Aircraft Reviews
Good to see that HPH stayed away from the pre-colored cockpit PE in this kit, the ones included in the Me 410 is my only gripe on that kit. Kirk -
Very nice renovation, thanks for sharing. Home renovating is my second hobby, love tearing stuff apart and rebuilding it. Kirk

If you are looking for a full service hobby dealer that stocks the complete line of Wings Cockpit Figures, I would recommend The Red Lancers, located in Milton, PA, USA. Has full service website and ships worldwide. I have done business with them for many years and the service and inventory selection is excellent. www.redlancers.com

If resin does not bother you the HpH kit is the way to go for 1/32 Me 410. Price is high but the quality of the kit is very good and the only area that I had some disappointment in was the pre-painted cockpit consoles and instrument panels. The pre-printed color is way off and just not usable as is for any self-respecting modeler, so either has to have some extensive masking and repaint done on it, or strip the pre-printed colors and re-paint. Not sure which avenue I will take when I get to it, but will cross that bridge whenever I start building the kit. Need to finish up my current projects before I even think about starting another.

HOBBY BOSS releasing the Fw 190D-13 "Yellow 10" in 1/48 scale.
Iceman replied to Iceman's topic in General Discussion
Agree, that the 190 D-11 and D-13 would be desirable to have in 1/32 injection molding, if done by the right company of course, which makes me wonder if Tamiya will ever kit the 190 in it's 1/32 series? The 1/32 Tamiya P-51 and F-4U Corsairs still blow me away every time I look at them! -

Henri Daehne 1/32 Props & Spinner Correction Sets
Iceman replied to Iceman's topic in Modelling Discussion
Thanks Jeroen, I sent him an e-mail and already had a response from him. Ordering some sets for the Dora's and Ta-152. They are incredible! Kirk -
Hi All, A couple years ago I remember coming across some photos of 1/32 Props and Spinners for Fw 190, Me 109, etc. being made by Henri Daehne located in Germany. This sets were incredibly detailed and he was offering them on eBay.de, but looks to me like they are gone. Anyone know if he is still producing these sets and how to get ahold of them? Would like to get some for the 190's & 109's. Thanks Kirk

I had the clogging issues with using Tamiya X20 thinner with their own line of acrylics, but as I mentioned previously, I discovered that they are not true acrylics. For thinning true acrylics, like Vallejo, AK Interactive, MIG, etc., I have been thinning with a mixture of 50% of the brands acrylic thinner and 50% distilled water and it has worked fantastically with my Iwata airbrushes.

Awesome! I will be following your build as I have recently purchased this kit. Look forward to seeing more!

Well after completing my D-13 build, I am beginning to see a D-11 build somewhere in my future. Very nice set produced by Montex, resin castings are excellent.
