  1. Well, a productive weekend. Hopefully by next weekend we’ll have a complete aircraft ready for the trip east. No weathering has been done yet. That’s next.
  2. Yeah they’re painted and there’s a couple slip ups in there, that fixing them now may be a nightmare, so we’ll just say that the ground crew’s stencil moved.
  3. Yup, thanks, Phil. What confounds me on these, is that the vents, bumps, antennas, and other bits completely varies from aircraft to aircraft. It’s almost maddening.
  4. Resin one off. I have that and the stabilizers. I need to catch the rest
  5. I have the box for the Felixstowe. This SHOULD fit. You’d think a guy would learn his lesson. Gotha, Felixstowe, now the Lanc. Maybe it’s time for 1/72 Fokker Dr.1’s? But we have a B-17E, a 1/48 B-36, a 1/48 C-46, a Dak, and a Canso to do yet... T-28s pack really nicely....
  6. Well, there’s a reason they call them “Rescue Swimmers”. You want to be rescued? Start swimming.
  7. No,..l you have a point there. Both make me cringe

  9. Well, it’s better than the aroma of Hai Karate and Skydrol. I’ve smelled that aroma a lot in my days.
  10. Gaz, I didn't know you were at Oshkosh this year! And judging warbirds too? Niiiiiiice.

  12. I don't see it. OK, I'm officially clueless
  13. Oh crap, did I start this? I gotta go back and look. I usually use an iPad and it has that dang autocorrect. half the time I have no idea what spits out the other end other than it's NOT what I typed.
  14. yikes! You guys are bound and determined to give me a heart attack, aren't you? remember, this IS a family friendly place, right? We can use the Pan American World Airways Clipper term: "FLIGHT DECK".
  15. I'm the same way with the Salmson. It's never been my favorite, but I woodgrained some stuff on mine a few years ago and it still sits, ready to be worked on. I'm following with interest
  16. Similar yes, but because I'm physically quite puffy, puffed up, puffyish, and of general puffy character, I have ordained myself as Grand Puffti, long may I reign.
  17. OUCH! It looks like nothing other than a bit of a head bumper and ego bruiser, as long as you weren't sitting behind the spar. On second thought, they look like they ran it into some rocks. I hope the pilot pulled little feeties up.
  18. As the Grand Puffti of all things pufftyish, I Hereby declare us all to be........... KIT ASSEMBLERS!!!!
  19. Hey, I’m old school. I’m still carving parts out of spruce and balsa
