Great review of this beauty. It's on my to buy and build list, especially as it'll be a perfect build to my upcoming book Finland at War Vol. 2

Looking great mate! Yes, a large scale SAAB 35 or 37 would be like a wet dream come true. At least a SAAB 29 is in the making from Fly... -
This one could in fact be the best one on the market thanks to it's sturdiness. I'm extremely tempted to get one for myself.

Excellent review and for certain a model to get in the future for me. Already got two, Revell's reboxed A-5 (Sadly with some damage to it) and ICM's A-14.

Thanks mate, but I'm not that new at the forum. Just haven't written that many posts so far...
-
Great review! Don't worry about the track links, it builds character after all...

Thanks mate but the airframe is repainted by AVG so I do need to touch up the grey around the wheel wells. -

PVA glue in the wheel wells. And dried. PE for the tail hook instead of the kit one. The Sakae engine mounted. With the wings in place it's starting to look like a Zero. The mandatory putty. The cowling in place. Tamiya XF-71 Interior Green. Tamiya XF-55 Deck Tan Tamiya XF-13 Ja. Green. Tamiya X-22 Clear in preparation for the decals. Decals in place with a sealing layer of X-22 followed with a dusting with Tamiya X-35 Satin when the X-22 had cured 24 hours. Removing the PVA turned out to be difficult as it's cured too much as I'm a too slow builder for it. As you can see it took some of the aotake with it. The small disaster. The grey paint lifted in the edges when I removed the PVA. Close-ups on the disaster. The fan that keeps the pilot cool in the heat. Now the question to you guys! I do need to retouch the lifted grey paint around the wheel wells. But should I leave the aotake as it is now n' see it as a weathering effect or should I retouch it? What do you think? -

Lovely! Even if I've already seen it over at SCM it's a marvel so see it once again. -
Sorry Matt! But I don't know who it is that'll give us the simplyfied tracks or when.
-
But on the plus side I'd say that the kit tracks should be a good excuse for you to make a new rant post about over-engineering at your blog.
-
Wait a bit as there's some simplyfied tracks coming for these beauties...
