  1. Thanks Carl. Yes, that seam can be a problem. I attach the rear halves separately to the fuselage halves instead of following the kit instructions. That way you can line it up better.
  2. More progress. Guess I can start painting soon.
  3. Thanks Peter! Coming right along with no snags, etc (knock on wood!). 😀
  4. Thanks Kai. I've run out of room in my display cases so now I just have to put 'em on top and on wall shelves. I hate to do that since they collect dust, etc but I have no other options.
  5. This is such a easy build it just doesn't take a long time to make significant progress. Hasegawa and Tamiya are the two best in my opinion.
  6. I can live with that. 😉
  7. Yes indeed Peter! LOL
  8. Thank you Peter. I'll overspray the prop with clear flat to get rid of that glossy area. This kit is practically falling together. As close to a shake and bake as you can get!
  9. Thanks Kevin. I'm pleased that you like the results of my efforts.
  10. Agreed. I think I might still have a couple in my stash somewhere! LOL
  11. Those Hasegawa P-40's are really easy builds. No big snags, etc.
  12. Yes indeed. I built that one too. Wonder what became of Otaki?
  13. This one's been on the shelf for a good while so I think I'll build it now. Will be mostly OOB and as "Wairarapa Wildcat" using kit decals. Should be a easy straight forward build.
  14. Thanks Gaz! I'm glad you like the results of my efforts. The nice comments here really make building more of a pleasure.
  15. Thanks Phil. It's a resin piece I got from Squadron a few years ago. You might be able to find one on ebay.
  16. Thank you Rob. I'm pleased that you like it.
