  1. I had a line on one on ebay but someone lodged a higher bid at the last moment so I lost out. So, I'm looking around for one. Either trade or $$$ or a mix of both.
  2. It's a good read alright. Right now I'm re-reading "Night Fighter" by Jimmy Rawnsley. Another good one!
  3. Good looking Skyraider! Well done.
  4. I just finished reading it for about the 3rd time.
  5. Sure negates the camouflage doesn't it. Some exhaust stains for sure.
  6. Thank you Gaz! Getting close to the finish line.
  7. Status as of today. All ready for the code masks. By the way, if you click on the pictures it comes up a bit sharper, etc.
  8. How the heck did I miss this one??? Looking really good! No doubt it will be a stunner when done. Love those Corsairs by Tamiya.
  9. Thanks Carl. I don't recall having any problems with the wing folds BUT, I've slept since then! LOL Really, I think they worked out okay with few if any "problems".
  10. Thank you Harv! Unfortunately those photos were taken with my old camera so they just are not up to snuff. I'll re-shoot them one of these days.
  11. This is the only one I have completed.
  12. Thanks! I agree, I don't always see builds that are really nice and tend to stumble on them, etc.
  13. I meant to post this when I finished the model but just remembered it. Bill Hess was a very good aviation author and a good friend. I was fortunate enough to do nearly all of his photo work in my darkroom. Sadly Bill passed a couple of years ago.
  14. Indeed Carl. In the meantime I can apply the roundels on the wings and the fin flash. Plus do a little touch up.
  15. Camo done. Now I can get started on the markings!
  16. I just today received my ICM A-26B kit. Sure looks good in the box! Very petite surface details, etc. Outshines Monogram/Promodeler and Must Have. Although Must Have has a lot of good details, etc. I'll have to build this 'un in the not-too-diatant future.
  17. Thanks Peter. Unrealistic but understandable laws.
