No doubt about THAT Ernie. LOL

Guess I'll settle for a Michelob Ultra since that's what I have in my fridge.
  3. Without a doubt Carl!
  4. Not proud of myself Martin, not at all. It's just unfortunate that it all got blown out of perspective. I tried to be nice about the Red Baron post but that didn't suit him and you know the rest.
  5. LOL is right. 😄
  6. I agree that 1/48 is the better scale for twins AND 4-engine birds. I look forward to some real goodies in this scale!
  7. Thanks Gaz! Coming right along.
  8. Thanks Frank. I have to agree, it sure does look different.
  9. Thank you Peter. As always, I very much appreciate the kind comments.
  10. More progress. Thank goodness for good quality Tamiya parts! LOL
  11. Should have had it's own thread. Then anyone who wanted to comment on it could without interrupting my WIP. .🤪
  12. Thank you Troy. Very much appreciated. Welcome to LSM.
  13. Thanks Peter. Yes, those kit exhausts are pretty bad and a real PITA to drill out. I feel your pain!!! (If you want, I have enough of the right type spare Tamiya exhausts I can send you. Just PM me.)
  14. I'll replace the kit exhausts with Tamiya exhausts. MUCH better I think.
  15. Thank you Kai! I appreciate the nice comments.
  16. Oops! Brain fart Frank! At last count it's 14 Tamiya Corsairs! I think they are like rabbits and multiply when you are not looking! I just bought a couple of Quinta cockpit sets for a birdcage and a -1A so I guess there will be more to come. The Corsairs and P-51's are addictive!!! Keep up the good work!
  17. Thank Kai! The slide show feature really helps folks to see the good and the bad! LOL It's a good thing for this build that Tamiya and Revell match well. Otherwise I'd put the kit on the SOD.
  18. Looking really good Jeroen.
  19. ALRIGHT!!! I'm glad I'm not the only one who loves Corsairs! Great looking build Frank.
  20. The Revell kit I'm using lacks the dorsal spine so I will mate a Tamiya tail section with it. Fit is amazingly close which is a GOOD thing! (It sure helps to have MANY left over parts from previous builds to scrounge from!)
  21. Test fitting of the cockpit section to the wing. Took a bit of trimming on the underside to get a good fit. Okay now though I think. If you will click on the 1st pic you can view as a slide show with MUCH better resolution. 😉
