  1. One thing Jeff. DO NOT put thinned Xtracolor back in the tinlet or it will gel up after a short while. Learned the hard way! No clue as to why since you would think that wouldn't happen.
  2. Thanks! Heck no, easy peasy. Just a little masking and hit the wells with paint.
  3. Underside about done. Still need to paint the wheel wells.
  4. Remember to get a can of their thinner. It is best for their paint.
  5. You are too kind guys! LOL About the only way to get Xtracolor is find someone in England who will purchase it for you and send it. That has been my modus operandi for a good bit.
  6. LOL Lot's of experience and a good, but old, Passche airbrush.
  7. It's Xtracolor paint Jeff. Their paints are gloss and lay down nicely. I highly recommend them but they are a bit difficult to get stateside.
  8. Done with the invasion stripes. Getting a start on painting more areas.
  9. Coming along well Peter! Looks really good.
  10. If you don't mind Carl I'll take the codes JE-J. Just slip 'em in a envelope and mail them. Thank you!!!!!
  11. Would any of you guys have either of these 1/32 Mask sheets? Montex 32005 Maketar 32090 I want to use it for the JE-J codes on this build. I'd like to get 'em ASAP as the model is about ready for them. This wasn't to be my original approach but after consideration I think it is the best way to go. Let me know $$$ and I'll send payment via PayPal. Thanks!!!!!
  12. As they say "different strokes for different folks" Peter. I recommend this method.
  13. I decided to get a ICM kit so I can do some comparing. I had a nice "rewards credit" at SB and saved $52.00 on the kit.
  14. Thanks Peter. Just a bit of measuring and masking.
  15. Invasion stripes on wings applied but yet to be touched up.
  16. Thanks. All this helps keep me off the streets! LOL
  17. Thanks Peter. As far as I can tell painting the stripes, etc first is about the easiest approach. Get that all done then the camo and then the decals.
  18. Thanks! Invasion stripes are next up.
  19. To be honest Gaz they didn't close up easily this time. Had a fairly high cuss-factor.
  20. Time to do some preliminary painting. Next I'll mask off the areas for the invasion stripes and get them laid down.
