  1. Thank you Rob! Won't be long before I can get started on painting. I look forward to it! That tri-color scheme fits this a/c perfectly.
  2. Thanks Gaz (I think! LOL). No, no foil.
  3. Yes indeed Peter. Easy peasy. LOL
  4. It's coming right along. Easy build, etc.
  5. Progress!!!! LOL
  6. Thanks again Peter.
  7. Thank you Peter. Vector makes some nice stuff.
  8. Thank you Harv. Turned out pretty well.
  9. Cowlings attached! Not bad!
  10. I just wish the rivet detail wasn't so heavy. Other than that it looks pretty good. We will see when I get around to building it.
  11. After shooting some gray primer I found a few areas that need a bit more attention. I did test fit the engines and cowlings and the fit seems okay. I have to credit that to Vector's good work. I should have the engines and cowlings installed soon.
  12. I know what you mean Peter. That's my favorite part of a build.
  13. About ready to attach the engines and nacelles. First I'll shoot a primer and see if any more work is needed.
  14. Coming along nicely Peter.
  15. LOL! I doubt that!
  16. I think the scheme looks good too Peter. Ve vill see! LOL
  17. Seems to be a very straight forward kit with things fitting well (so far). Looks like it won't take a long time to get it built and painted. I look forward to the painting on this one in the 3-tone scheme.
  18. Thanks Carl. I like the looks of the new canopy and will consider getting a set when I decide to start on the kit.
  19. I just received the kit and, after looking it over, it looks pretty good (I got the RAF variant). The only "fly in the ointment" so far as I can see is the heavy rivet detail throughout. I'll put it in my stash for a future build.
  20. Thank you Martin! 😀
  21. They should vastly improve the looks of the model.
  22. Thanks Rob.
  23. Seems to be a pretty nice kit which should go together with no headaches. Fingers crossed.
  24. Some surgery is necessary to use the Vector cowlings but they will be a nice improvement.
  25. LOL Phil! I just got a bit "uninspired" and decided the best thing to do was set it aside for a bit and work on something else. I'm well along on it but I decided to give it a short rest. I'll get back to it pretty soon (after I finish the Revell PV-1) which had been sitting on my shelf staring at me for a good while. It should go well with the 1/48 A-26 I finished recently.
