Oгромное спасибо! Three months and counting down... If all goes well ("First Five-year Plan"), it's going to be goodbye good old Germany for good. Anyway, after two years of painstaking preparations we're pretty confident. Same here, I was quite impressed when I got my first Meng kit (a French AMX-30B) five years ago, and right now I'm toying with the idea of ordering their T-90MS boxing. I also love the Leo 2A7, Merkava Mk.3D and Mk.4M w/Trophy APS kits. By the way, the Takom Chieftains, Mk.10/Mk.11, are also fairly impressive kits. It was about time to retire my venerable Tamiya Mk.5 plus the "not so" Accurate Armour Mk.10 conversions. Sometimes, letting go isn't that hard...

Take some Takeshi's Castle, a whiff of Russian desomorphine aka "Krok", a bit of "Canadian Army Trophy" here, a tad of "Strong Europe Tank Challenge", and you're pretty much there. It would be interesting to see how a T-90 or a Chinese Type 96/99 and their crews would perform during an "SETC" competition at GTA (Grafenwoehr Training Area).

More precisely, that part of my stash that is currently carefully stowed away along with furniture and white goods in a 40ft container waiting to be shipped to NZ. Can't wait to resume bench operations...

Tiger #6 arrived today, four Italeri F-104G/TF-104G's are scheduled for arrival tomorrow. A clusterf**** par excellence when pitting the kit plastic against the marking options. Anyhow, I do love that kit.
