  1. I had Possum once (seriously), and I must admit I didn't quite like it. I think I'll go with the Rhubarb Pie...
  2. Not even bacon camo?
  3. Squirrel Legs Ready in: 1 hour 30 minutes 8 strips bacon 16 meaty squirrel legs Salt and pepper, to taste 1/2 cup all-purpose flour 1/2 cup cornstarch 2 eggs 2 tablespoons milk 1 cup thinly sliced onions 2 tablespoons minced garlic 2 tablespoons minced shallot 1 cup chicken stock 1 bay leaf 1 teaspoon minced fresh thyme Cook the bacon and set aside. Reserve grease in the skillet. While the bacon is cooking, season the squirrel with salt and pepper, and set aside. In a resealable bag, add flour and cornstarch. Whisk together eggs and milk until smooth. Dredge the squirrel in the flour mixture, shake off excess flour, then dip into egg mixture, shaking off excess egg. Dredge again in the flour, and set aside. Discard all but two tablespoons of bacon fat from the skillet, and bring back to medium-high heat. Cook the squirrel pieces until golden brown, 3 to 4 minutes per side, then set aside. Turn heat down to medium; add the onions, garlic, and shallot and cook for 3 minutes, until soft. Pour in the chicken stock, and add the bay leaf and minced thyme. Increase heat to medium-high and bring to a simmer. Add the squirrel, return to a simmer, cover, then turn heat to medium-low. Cook until very tender, about 30 minutes. Remove the squirrel legs to a serving platter and spoon the sauce over them. Sprinkle with crumbled bacon and serve.

  5. Recreational Safety and Health Administration (RSHA) information: While modelling please ensure proper and sufficient ventilation - risk of explosion, exposure to hazardous organic solvents. P.S. PRIMUS SUCKS!

  7. Looks familiar to me...
  8. What a lovely bunch of Spits. The venerable Matchbox kit in particular brings back some fond memories. A 32nd scale "cut-back" Mk.XIVe is on my bucket list.
  9. Nothing to object. The more, the merrier.
  10. Does that count?
  11. Squirrel intensifies... "Nope, I'm not no friggin' prairie dog! So don't call me Alan, numbnut!"
  12. Karlsruhe... Nothing to add. And I couldn't agree more. DON'T HASEL THE NUSS!

  14. I can faintly recall those funny T-72/T-80 TOW PK sheets - kill probability/aspect angle, damage category percentage (CAT/MOB/FP/COMMO), etc. Ordered a Tiger-Model T-90MS last night. I'm eager to see how it compares to the Meng kits. A Meng T-64BV... Wouldn't that be nice?
  15. While we're at it... Chukchi jokes. Chukchi: “That was a horrible bird!” Russian: “It was a hang glider!” Chukchi: “I had to shoot it three times to make it release the man from its claws.”
  16. <headscratch> Is it just me or is Paul slowly transforming into another Mel Brooks? </headscratch>
  17. Nice ménage à trois. And now get those pesky B-29s! The Ki-84 is a treat to build.
  18. Always telling the truth: kids, drunk people and yoga pants.
  19. Colour psychology: calmness, emotional control, thoughtfulness, cleanliness, etc. Have you ever wondered why many hospital corridors, surgeries and ORs used to have turquoise/greenish painted/tiled walls or interiors?
  20. +1 Seriously, what's not to love about the Wyvern?! Brutish British eleganza.
  21. The Ukrainians threw in their latest T-84 Oplot. Last year they entered the competition with T-64BV's.
