  1. Hair roller paper (thick paper tissue) is a good material for creating thin tarps and other such materials. I use it for the aforementioned but can also be used for your use. I use diluted white-glue and Vallejo paint.
  2. Thanks, I'm new to building WW1 kits. I would think that most of items in this era are made of Copper and Brass. that is what I thought as well. I just want sure to were it would lead to. Direct to the engine for "static" pressure priming or for oil to circulate. My thoughts at the time was that it was for fuel priming. Second, that looks GREAT! Third, this is is what I came up with. I looks a bit better than whats in the kit I think, I'm not sold on my handle though.
  3. Does anyone know what this pump in the cockpit of the Stahltaube is and go to?
  4. Does anyone know what this pump in the cockpit of the Stahltaube is and go to?
  5. What type of glue or solvent did you use to affix them? Try reactivating the glue if it hasn't been too long ( 24-48 hours, etc...).
  6. I'm working on a revised F6F Cockpit Control Stick for my 1/24 Airfix Hellcat kit. There are thousands of images of the control stick from the top but none from the side that show off the full parts. Does anyone have any images of it in more detail. Diagrams, etc.? A canvas covering that usually covers the control box. Would this be something that was usually not present on operational aircraft on a carrier? Regards
  7. Ive been using all of there primers for my jobs. I tend to thin much like the old saying. "Thin as milk..." 7:3 for me with Leveling thinner being the majority of the mix.
  8. 1. Finish Something! 2. Finish Something Else!
  9. That was the first thing that I thought of as well. I have just the pair in mind.
  10. Yes, they are. I think they find something that is already in production and stamp their logo, then charge %80+. Might you have a link to the ones you got?
  11. Thanks. This looks like something that I could use as well.
  12. Really great work on this gem. I've been wanting to get one for some time. I think I will now!
