SHIT! That is fantastic. Who would have thought that a wreck would look so cool?

 

Loving that one David. Looks like I might have to take a look at that issue, being an Air Modeller subscriber only.

Superb, I'm guessing that last one is the actual tank, it's a very good model and well done!

I am guessing the last picture is also of the model.

No they're different. You have to really look, though (around the mantlet the rust spotting is different...grass clumps on the tracks are smaller IRL vs. the build). Overall, that's just a staggering effort.

I stand corrected. Wonderful and inspiring work.

I know superlatives fly fast and loose on forums, but I can say without hesitation that your tank is the most realistic representation I've ever seen. Just incredible!

Thanks for all the nice words everyone, the last picture IS the real vehicle as a comparison, much as I would love to take the credit for it :)

 

The grass is Sisa Moss but there will be a detailed explanation in the article as its a bit complex to describe here!
