We had almost -30C temperatures in Texas last week, and right now, we just got one heck of a hailstorm.  Golfball size.

You're not in Kansas any more Toto !:rofl:Any damage??

The sun is pretty quiet at the moment, thoughts that it might be going into a solar minimum, with little or no sun spot activity, this will mean cooler temperatures. It's been a very mild summer out in Australia and predictions for a wet Autumn.

Weird here as well. Went from -15C or so to +12C in 48 hrs so now everything is flooded as the snow melt in the mountains has happened so suddenly.

In Brisbane, over the last fortnight we seem to have gone straight from Winter to Tropical. 37 Celcius officially, the car said 40 at 3pm yesterday.

So far it's been a colder year on average, with August the only month above the mean temperature level.

Bucketing with rain down in Melbourne, I thought this "climate change" meant it wasn't going to rain like it did? Hmmm. Not sure we will get cricket in this week.
