One-Oh-Four Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 The built-up examples of Airfix' forthcoming 1/24 Typhoon and the sprues: 1
Administrators JeroenPeters Posted November 12, 2013 Administrators Posted November 12, 2013 Very nice! Thanx for taking these!! Cheers, Jeroen
Matt_ Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 Looks like a real beauty of a kit. Those separate cockpit panels make it look like a car door could be modelled with a minimal amount of effort (I've always preferred the car door's look). Matt
Administrators Fran Posted November 13, 2013 Administrators Posted November 13, 2013 Lovelly..... Not my scale but maybe i go for this one!!!
Jeroenveen1 Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 I'm going to build it, super detail it and paint it and make sure it flies. Now I am looking for a dwarf to pilot the damned thing! 2
Brewer Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 I must say, even though it isn't my scale I'm very tempted to pick one up when it comes out. I really like how they implemented the "stressed skin" effect and bet it will look great and not so stark under paint. 2
One-Oh-Four Posted November 13, 2013 Author Posted November 13, 2013 There's a plastic dwarf in there, just looking to be united with his head. That may do it... Yes, will have one too. Can't wait, next june they said...? Next june....? 2014...? Still 7,5 months to wait...? Gawd.... Like you have no kits in your stash anymore you can build in the meantime.... 1
Jamme Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 Thank you for sharing the pictures. Looks like a must for 2014........... (One more) Cheers, Jamme
Typhoonattack Posted December 29, 2013 Posted December 29, 2013 Given my forum moniker, I imagine you can guess what I think about this news. 2
wemattson Posted December 29, 2013 Posted December 29, 2013 Erik, Thanks for posting these shots. They're the best ones I've seen to date for this kit. Wayne
