Administrators Clunkmeister Posted August 7, 2023 Administrators Posted August 7, 2023 I placed this decal on my Val literally last minute, and guess what? How bloody embarrassing is this….. 2
PanzerWomble Posted August 7, 2023 Posted August 7, 2023 Ah i see it now , they spelt sushi rolls incorrectly, damn those IJN aircrew menus I’m guessing its upside down but I doubt any non Japanese reader would notice 1 5
ScottsGT Posted August 7, 2023 Posted August 7, 2023 Unless a judge was fluent in Japanese, I bet no one caught it. I sure as hell wouldn’t. But there you have it. Time to strip it back down to bare plastic and start over. 2 2 1
Administrators Clunkmeister Posted August 7, 2023 Author Administrators Posted August 7, 2023 It’s silvered all to shit around the edges 1

ScottsGT Posted August 7, 2023 Posted August 7, 2023 I could barely make out the silvering. But now that you pointed it out…. Im thinking a Dewalt 4.5” grinder with a flap disc would do the trick. 5

Seriously though, if you’re competing at a Nationals level, that simple little bit of silvering will sink you badly. It sucks, but it’s life. And what sucks even more is that I DON’T get silvered decals. Ever. Until now. 4
BlrwestSiR Posted August 7, 2023 Posted August 7, 2023 I have a love/hate relationship with decals. Usually they go wrong for me which is why I prefer to use masks for as much as possible. And yet, when I don't have a choice they work out. Most of the time. 2

Landlubber Mike Posted August 7, 2023 Posted August 7, 2023 Can you lightly feather some paint on? With all the straight lines on the decal, I'd consider trying that before more extreme measures. 4
