it's one of those things of late Peter I have really been enjoying totally off the beaten path.

While waiting for some drying to occur on the Tempest I have just about finished the wood on the glass case.I still have to glue the four upright to the case drop some wood glue in the joints,sand and clean up.I will then be on the prow for handles up top and for the ends.

Wow, looks great!  Are you doing glass or acrylic for the panes?  Probably not inexpensive given the size!

Doing acrylic Mike was about $160 for the acrylic,$30 glue and maybe $20 wood.I still need to source out handles so something there also.

That's actually not bad at all.  I have the 1/200 Trumpeter Bismarck in the stash - was worried at what that would cost me!
