Chris, so far the engineering on the kit has been amazing. Everything fits perfectly. We'll see what happens when I get to the wing fold assemblies. 

Peter, I really should get back to this build. Hopefully soon.

Carl,  Looking back over the thread, wow the detail IS amazing!  The missiles look amazing. To answer your question about drooping flaps - even with folded wings, the flaps and ailerons seem to be down a bit.

Since the Flanker is just sitting on my bench it was easy to take a look at where I'd left off. 

I'm still amazed at the quality of the fit. This is Mnibase's first ever kit and they have exited something truly magical. 

Dropping the rear intake trunk into the nacelle, the sidewalls are almost flush. There's a seam for sure but there no step at the join.

Then the upper section drops into place.

From the underside, you can see how clean the fit is, even before glue.

Finally, the MLG bay roof goes in next. Again, no glue yet, just dropped in place.
