JohnB Posted April 13, 2024 Author Posted April 13, 2024 I decided to come back to this build for a bit and try to sort out the problems I had earlier. I was able to get it together properly so now I can continue with the build. I plan to work on this and the Revell Spitfire simultaneously. 6
Peterpools Posted April 13, 2024 Posted April 13, 2024 John Great to se the Magic factory Corsair back on the bench and underway again. Looking forward to your next update. 3
BlrwestSiR Posted April 13, 2024 Posted April 13, 2024 So, not quite Tamiya build quality. Glad you took the short break and have come back to it. 3

Some times you just have to step back and do something else for a bit. Hopefully things will go a bit more smoothly now. 3
JohnB Posted April 14, 2024 Author Posted April 14, 2024 Making good progress on the build now. It's nice when everything fits. 5
JohnB Posted April 15, 2024 Author Posted April 15, 2024 White undersides and Intermediate Blue areas done. Next is the Dark Sea Blue on top. 6
Peterpools Posted April 15, 2024 Posted April 15, 2024 John Looking mighty good and I can't believe you're already onto the color coats. 2

Peterpools Posted April 15, 2024 Posted April 15, 2024 John Faster then expected doesn't come close. Once you are on a roll, you're supersonic and flying high. 2
Martinnfb Posted April 15, 2024 Posted April 15, 2024 Nice to see you back on this one John. The engineering complexity of this kit is what I was wondering about when I saw the CAD drawings for the first time. Not a Tamiya/Martin friendly kit for sure Looking good and moving fast as usually . Cheers Martin 3

When all that's done I'll attach the gear and other items. I expect to have it finished in a day or two barring unforseen problems. 2 1
