BlrwestSiR Posted February 18 Posted February 18 Looks great there Dave. I love how Dragon made the cockpit a separate module. So much easier to assemble and then install. 2
denders Posted March 14 Author Posted March 14 Some progress. The wings and tail are not attached. Some filling and sanding are still needed. I hope it fits on my shelf. 8
Landlubber Mike Posted March 14 Posted March 14 Amazing detail! Great job! I have the Eduard 1/48 kit of the BF 110 - I thought it was big in 1/48, must be huge in 1/32. 2

denders Posted March 21 Author Posted March 21 Time to start putting the big pieces together. Might be interesting painting this one. 6
denders Posted March 24 Author Posted March 24 All the big pieces are attached now. A few small pieces and small areas for putty. 8 1
denders Posted March 28 Author Posted March 28 First it received a coat of MRP Primer Grey, then this....... Then this........ I've never done this sort of painting. I'm thinking about starting with RLM66 and then adding some Nato Black. Onward! 4
denders Posted April 16 Author Posted April 16 Well, after the storms and then being away, I've finally put a coat of RLM66 on it. I've also decided that it will be Falck's Plane #3 with the Green Letter A. I have the EagleCal's decal set which I purchased to have the squadron marking and Falck's Ladybug marking. Soooooooooo, now the choice of painting the markings or using all decals. Hmmmm. 5
denders Posted April 20 Author Posted April 20 I decided to use the decals. The green A is two layers. 5
denders Posted June 10 Author Posted June 10 I'm still working at this. Working on the various little bits and weathering. 4 1
denders Posted June 13 Author Posted June 13 Landing gear is on. There is a number of PE pieces to be added. It was easier being able to tilt the model. 2
denders Posted Friday at 01:55 AM Author Posted Friday at 01:55 AM Okay, a bit more progress. I've been working on the little bits. 1 1
crazypoet Posted Sunday at 01:33 AM Posted Sunday at 01:33 AM Beautiful work on this! The cockpit is a work of art unto itself 🙏 looking forward to this coming together 1
denders Posted Sunday at 06:43 PM Author Posted Sunday at 06:43 PM Okay, I'm declaring this one done. Hopefully I'll get some RFI photos this week. Now to figure how I'm going to pack this to take along to NATS. Should be fun. 4 1
