FullArmor Posted September 8, 2024 Posted September 8, 2024 I bought this kit 10€ from older gentleman at truck meet. He had driven these at military. These were used in sixties and some converted to diesel in seventies because of massive fuel consumption (42 l/100 km). Kit looks like fairly decent. My first truck build and second car model. Wish me luck😁 8
FullArmor Posted September 15, 2024 Author Posted September 15, 2024 Engine. Good instructions and fitment of parts. Added missing ingition leads. Need to add capasitor. 9
FullArmor Posted September 15, 2024 Author Posted September 15, 2024 In picture ingition leads seam too large but in reality they are ok. That red cable diameter is 0.25mm and it is used in wire wrap test circuits. It is almost impossible to try use any smaller cable. 5
FullArmor Posted September 15, 2024 Author Posted September 15, 2024 I'm not completely satisfied with capasitor, but better than nothing. I hope that this motor will fit nicely to frame. Next i will start with frame construction. 8
belugawhaleman Posted September 15, 2024 Posted September 15, 2024 Nice start. Will be following. 1 1
FullArmor Posted September 22, 2024 Author Posted September 22, 2024 The most nerve wracking step of build...to get all frame pieces to line up...luckily this kit has been like assebling lego bricks👍 5
PanzerWomble Posted September 23, 2024 Posted September 23, 2024 FYI Sometimes building a simple jig to align it all can be helpful . Also might be worth looking at the work of Alexander Pedan for some inspiration ?, he's made some great trucks over the years, although been quiet for a while . 2

FullArmor Posted September 29, 2024 Author Posted September 29, 2024 The most time consuming and the most challenging piece which i have assembled ever. Details of this kit is outstanding. 8
DocRob Posted September 30, 2024 Posted September 30, 2024 Your patience pays off, the engine looks great and the axle is a feast for the eye. Cheers Rob 3 1

Cheers Rob thanks🙂. It was challenge to glue everything together whilst also obtain movable steering and rotating rims🧐. 3
FullArmor Posted September 30, 2024 Author Posted September 30, 2024 There is 3D model of this truck in internet. There one can rotate frame freely. It has come handy many times allready. 4
FullArmor Posted October 5, 2024 Author Posted October 5, 2024 Added batterybox, pressure accumulators, subframe and front suspension. 7
DocRob Posted October 11, 2024 Posted October 11, 2024 Looking good, nice drybrushing to enhance the contrast FA. Cheers Rob 3 1
FullArmor Posted November 1, 2024 Author Posted November 1, 2024 Here is some updated pictures. Added engine and axles. Wooden bed was very nice to build and paint. I am happy with results. 🙂 5
