But for my Schneider , I'll go for the Friuls, they look great. The one thing about Hobby Boss, they do pick interesting subjects. I have a Vickers tank by them, that I'm certain that the Friul tracks for the Matilda II (flat type) will fit. Anyway thanks for the idea. I just checked the box of my Meng FT 17 and found the easy click together tracks in it. I may use them for the Schneider, where they are less visible than with the FT 17. I will make a test fit later and then decide. Cheers Rob 1

I saw someone else refer to these kinds of builds after a long build as a "palette cleanser" - maybe that will get your mojo back up and running. Gawds yes! A break after a long build is a nice “reset button” 🤣 I already picked out my next build after the P-47 - an HE-111 with zero aftermarket and a promise to myself that I won’t do any major surgery 🤣 I haven’t done a straight out-of-box build since I was a teenager, so this will be a very nice break 😎🤣🙏 2

Always liked the looks of the HE 111 2

It’s a pretty solid kit, with the opportunity for a *bit* of dressing up the interior without too much fuss and bother. The only real challenge will be masking all that glass with just Tamiya Tape and liquid mask 🤣 2
DocRob Posted 13 hours ago Author Posted 13 hours ago After Paul @belugawhaleman mentioned it, I opened the Meng FT 17 box and found the tracks to be ready cut and easy click and after 10 minutes, I had two with the suggested length of 32 links per side. There are some spare links as well. They don´t look bad and I may use the Meng plastic ones for the Schneider, where they are not so visible. Meanwhile the Schneider itself got black primed with Mr. Surfacer 1000. Cheers Rob 5
