Hi Paulster i used this Applied it watered down like a wash on a pale yellow undercoat about 3 coats you can draw a wood grain on your undercoat for a different effect. 3

At first i thought i had pushed it to far weather wise" less is more" but its now growing on me, i have a lot to learn..... Will start this soon can't wait 3
Paulster Posted February 17, 2015 Posted February 17, 2015 Looking really good. You pulled that "late winter/ early spring" appearance off excellently. 2
Grant Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 Blimey !! Is there anything you can't turn your hand to? I love the effect you've achieved and, yet again, at your first attempt! It's not fair to us mere mortals !! This is purely for information and a slightly redundant mention of a product called "Precision Ice & Snow" (I say redundant because of how you've created such a cracking snow/winter effect already).... http://www.precisioniceandsnow.com/ Great job ! 1
coolboxx Posted February 18, 2015 Author Posted February 18, 2015 Cheers Grant i will check that out. Would like to do a snowy Base
efrick Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 I honestly believe that this is one of the most convincing winter whitewash schemes I have ever seen. 1
coolboxx Posted February 22, 2015 Author Posted February 22, 2015 Thanks all for the comments really appreciated well i have got the tracks almost done made a meal of these glued 1st then painted harder then i thought,Tracks where painted Tamiya XF-64, then black wash, then heavy dry brush XF-53, then chalk pastel pigment fixed with hairspray and finally light siver dry brush. 1
