lud13 Posted August 21, 2016 Posted August 21, 2016 Hello all I wanted to do this one for long time and finally decided to go through with it. I used excellent 1:32 Dragon kit an I must say I find it a bit more enjoyable to build than Eduard offering. Really had no problem building this one. All parts come together quite nice and I was a bit afraid of nose section since I had no intention to build it with engine. All that was in need was some careful positioning and the whole area fit quite nicely. I decided to use Model Master Acrylic RLM 79 since it look more yellowish than enamel paint from same manufacture. I thinkit gives more realistic look for early Luftwaffe desert Emils, enamel is much more suited for later 109s. RLM78/80 are MM enamel and decals are from Kagero. 5
BevanBrooks Posted August 22, 2016 Posted August 22, 2016 Never built the Dragon kit before but have built a couple of Eduards offerings, E1, E4. They build up rather nice as well but have a couple of things to look out for namely the conopy not being wide enough and the lower wing to fuse join at the rear. I think your build turned out excellent, and the scheme and colours look cool. Cheers Bevan 1

GAJouette Posted September 26, 2016 Posted September 26, 2016 Now that's one outstanding E-7 my friend. Congratulations for a well built and beautifully painted bit of history. Love that North African camouflage scheme. Highest Regards, Gregory Jouette 1
k5ikl Posted October 2, 2016 Posted October 2, 2016 Great job and I am glad you mentioned the difference in the MM RLM 79 between the enamal and acrylic. Got a couple of those desert schemes I want to do and I like the way yours looks. Cheers, Jerry 1
