Administrators JeroenPeters Posted November 14, 2016 Administrators Share Posted November 14, 2016 High Guys! The LSM team just returned from a very successful show in Telford this year. As you may know we (Ben Summerfield, Cees Broere, Francisco Guedess and myself manned the Hong Kong Models stand this year in the absence of James Hatch and Neil Yann (Hong Kong Models). A lot of interest was shown in the progress of the Lancaster. What we told people? The new aim: March 2017! The stand, albeit small and not suited to build the models as planned, looked the part. Our goal for next years is to come back bigger and even better. Here's a pic of Francisco and Cees at work: Until next year!!

Administrators James H Posted November 14, 2016 Administrators Share Posted November 14, 2016 You guys did a great job! Superb setup and attractive banners. It'll be hard to trump for 2017 (no pun!), but we'll be even better and stronger.
Wingco57
Was that a smartphone in my pocket or was I just happy to see Fransisco? Yes it was great fun and we spoke to a lot of people. Interest in the B17 and Lancaster is high. The Junkers 52 came as a surprise to a lot of the visitors and there were also questions about the Phantom.

I truly hope that its just a smartphone!! you`re not my type! :D There`s lots of expectation around the Lanc and the Phantom. The Ju-52 announcement was well received and several of modelers that talk to me, are keen to see it in plastic.
GusMac
Really looking forward to seeing some details on the Phantoms. I can appreciate why people are excited by the Ju52, but it just doesn't do it for me - reminds me of a flying corrugated iron shed.
Wingco57
It actually is, the designer was known for his laziness and put some wings on his gemüse-shed.

Within the next few years I will be coming from Canada , however not looking forward to bringing a motorcycle model alla way on my lap.
Drdave
Holiday inn is nearest but fills up. Park inn is a 20 min walk away. International hotel is right by the centre.
