I started this one for the Vietnam GB over on LSP. I didn't finish on time, but I finally got it done. Aires cockpit, Sierra Hotel intakes and burner cans. Eduard PE everything. Decals from an old Microscale sheet. Though I had prepainted PE instrument panels, I think the Eduard ones look grainy; I painted the bare ones in the Aires set. Perhaps of interest: the seam between the upper fuselage and the wing root had a significant gap. I stuck a balloon up the tail end and inflated it while the gap filling CA dried. It worked better than I thought it would!

Bill, that's STUNNING!

One thing I'd like to do here is a Vietnam GB, once we all get settled in and such.  I think that'd be an absolute winner in my books.

Really nice looking Phantom Bill. One E is waiting for me in my stash, together with gazillion of another unfinished projects :)

Thanks for sharing

Cheers

That’s what the proctologist said!

Seriously, nice job on the Phantom!
