GrahamF@Iconicair
The MK 21 it was the first Griffon Spitfire I had ever seen, it was temporarily at the base of the Vickers Building in Millbank by the Thames in the mid 1970's I must have been about 10 or 11. I remember thinking wow! this is a sort of modern looking Spitfire, I liked it's even more aggressive looks, It's never gone away and I've been CAD drawing one up on and off the last couple of years. Not the pleasantest beverage I've ever consumed and Scotland is the home of Tennent's lager- the nastiest alcopop on the planet. You can clean yer drains with that stuff!

Graham Graham, if you ever do the Mk 21 I'd certainly get one. That and a Griffon conversion for the Tamiya Spitfires. I've already used your corrected nose for the Matchbox 22/24 and need to build your Seafang. Carl
Wurgermeister64
I had hoped in vain for Tamiya to release 1:32 scale Mk. VB. Next to the MK IX, I think it's the most beautiful Merlin engined Spit designed. In any event, the merlin engined birds have always been works of aerodynamic art in my book.
