FullArmor Posted January 29, 2024 Posted January 29, 2024 Impressive! I especially like that oilspill tray👍 3
Peterpools Posted January 29, 2024 Posted January 29, 2024 Oliver Holy Smokes the weathering on the details is so brilliantly done and wonderfully realistic. Some mighty fine work 🏆 2
shark64 Posted February 4, 2024 Author Posted February 4, 2024 Disaster. I had finished the toolbox and after applying a thin coat of gloss for decals and using Solvaset on the decals the paint cracked and peeled off, this has never happened before. I used Vallejo paints and Solvaset together before and never had that kind of reaction. the toolbox was ruined. I really want to have a toolbox in the dio so I made a new one. 12
Peterpools Posted February 4, 2024 Posted February 4, 2024 Oliver Looking mighty good. The toolchest details look spot on. 👍 1

Kirk Posted February 11, 2024 Posted February 11, 2024 (edited) Not sure whether to be inspired or burn all my styrene. This is all just amazingly good. At 1:16 it would be impressive. 1:32?? Will go with the inspiration for now, and save sending the neighbourhood up in smoke for another day. Edit: I suppose I could argue that the hammer handle is a bit too light at the end, but it really is a bit of a gratuitous dig. Better than any hammer I've ever made... shark64 Posted March 13, 2024 Author Posted March 13, 2024 Made an airbase sign, I used Dave's Decals to create the sign. i may add chain link fence...still debating on it. I am waiting for the wood base to arrive and I am stuck till it arrives. I got a 3d printed toolbox with the figures so I painted that too. 8
