Jamme Posted May 24, 2013 Posted May 24, 2013 Hello. This is my first completed kit for this year! Hurray !!! Pics were taken this afternoon, with really bad weather. Will made better pics when it is not raining! Enjoy. Hope you like it. I enjoyed this build very much. Thank you for looking. Cheers, Jamme 1
One-Oh-Four Posted May 24, 2013 Posted May 24, 2013 Looking very nice Jamme! You know how I feel about heavy (pre)shading, though... Other than that, magnificent build! Awkward airfield planking, I must say... Must've been hell on the undercarriages! Oh, wait..... I had to add: I positively LOVE the airbrushed roundels & markings!
Jamme Posted May 24, 2013 Author Posted May 24, 2013 Thank you for the nice comments, 104! Cheers, Jamme

GAJouette Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 Jamme, Beautiful Spitfire my friend. She carries a very impressive weathered camouflage. Well Done. I've seen several Hobby Boss kits at the LHS but have shied away from them not knowing much about their quality. What's your opinion of this kit,how does it compare to Tamiya's or Hasegawa's Spitfire? Highest Regards, Gregory Jouette
Jamme Posted May 27, 2013 Author Posted May 27, 2013 Hi Gregory. Thank you for the nice comment. What should I say over the HB Spit......? It's not Tamiya, but surely better then Hasegawa, at least the engraving panels, riveting and easy of build. The HB kit is much under looked, because it has certain flaws. Nothing difficult to fix. For the price there is no pictures for the choice! Cheers, Jamme
