LittleMicksta
Hello Everyone, Here is a build I have been tinkering on for awhile and now in full swing to get the build completed hopefully by the end of the year. Well that's the plan... I'll keep it short and leave the images to show the progress and feel free to ask any questions or advise where I'm going wrong. Note I do understand not everything is correct with the Schnellboot and all I'm trying to do is enhance and detail the boat and not to change rivets in the wrong place. The boat is a nice build painted with a few enhancing details to make it stand out. I have a dire need to create a water project and have zero knowledge on how to replicate it apart from the Book I got from AK on snow and water subjects. The boat will not be the challenge, it's the waves and water. Final result, boat going through water with crew at action stations and all guns a blazing. Here we go.... Water for waves Corrected 20mm bow opening Keeping the sub assemblied free from dust Michael

DocRob
Looking great so far Michael. You can do a lot of detailing on these large scale ships and the figures you modified will enhance that. I have the 1/35 Vosper boat in stash along with tons of PE and resin as a 'if there is time' project . I wish you luck with your S-Boat and am eager to see, how you tackle the water. Cheers Rob
Bomber_County
I love the crossover between AFV scale and ship modelling, I am really tempted now.........I remember as a kid I always loved the look of the old Tamiya Vosper but that was 40 years ago, looking forward to more of the build Michael.......
BlrwestSiR
Looks great so far Michael. I knew the S boats were big but that gun mounting really puts it into perspective. I wouldn't mind building the Vosper one day. Carl
LittleMicksta
Thanks Guys, Bare with me on this project as I mainly build armour and it's the second large scale boat project in 6 years. In hind sight I would have liked to have done the PT flying through water. More to follow.. Michael
Bomber_County
Which PT is that Michael?.........you’ve got all of us thinking now.......... I looked up the old Tamiya Vosper, was actually 1/72 and came out in 1971............
