AND there is a fault in the instructions. It gives the wrong number for the left engine cover. So I took a guess and painted the wrong part. Ah well... I left it unvarnished and hub-less. I'll first apply the prop decals, then varnish myself and then place the HGW hubs. The AK Interactive chipping agent leaves far smaller and more delicate chips than hairspray can achieve. Here with some oil. I worked it over with varnish. Polished it, varnished it, polished it. Just added the two Niendorf decals and working on the hub now. Needs one more part. All my own doing I must add. Some extra weathering in certain areas will obscure my mistake. I hope.. Here's where I was going for with the prop. Shiny, but not too shiny.
