  1. Moved to correct forum area I used Uschi decal on my LVG fuse:
  2. All I can say is that I'm glad I'm more or less building WW1 now because this build would make me go out and buy this kit. Absolutely live the detailing and correction you've done. Will we see the B-17 next?

There's something about these early non-angular canopy Emils. Here's some images I took a couple of years ago in Munich.
  4. I don't know if classed as 'rare', but they certainly are OOP, I have these:
  5. Here are a few very useful images for you, should Tamiya-san give us that Corsair kit we always wanted!
  6. LMFAO! I think I just wet myself.
  7. The aluminium stencils are MDC decals. Not sure about the 1:24 though...
  8. Here's my WIP for the Fw 190D, JV44. To date, this has been one of my favourite builds.
  9. This model was my first foray back into aircraft modelling again, and was the second model I'd used an airbrush in anger on. This is still one of my favourites.
  10. Here's my own Heinkel He 162, which hopefully will be finished before 2018! The kit has Eduard, Aires and CMK parts added, and a little scratch build work. The incorrect Aires radio set was removed from the pit and replaced with a more authentic German set.
  11. Klaus has allowed me to post images of his 1:32 Revell He 162, with some resin and scratch work. The pictures pretty much tell the story, so enjoy
  12. She's looking real great now. Can't wait to see it next to the Blue Max! Is this being displayed on a regular plinth, or a grass base?
  13. I know Jeroen has a little work to be doing for a few days, but I'm sure he'll sort you out when he returns.
  14. I adore that camo. You did a far more natural edging to it than I did on mine. Mine looks crap in comparison: Agreed that it's a corker of a kit. Now.....where's that Corsair?
  15. I love the Brisfit, but the lower wing on struts etc makes me think it'll be more difficult to tackle. I've got that kit here though, so I'm watching this with interest.
  16. With how much work's involved, it should be an investment for my retirement.
  17. You wanted LARGE SCALE? Ok, how about a 1:16 Albatros D.Va? Just got this from Model Expo. A lot of the metal parts are crap, but I intend to use this as a basis for something far better. It's still a great kit. When you move the rudder pedals and stick, the control surfaces move too! I'm used to working in wood and metal, which is just as well as I need to make a whole new set of brazed brass ailerons, elevators and a rudder.
  18. Hi Doug, First, real nice to see you at LSM! The AlleyCat conversions do fit real well, but you need to measure a 1000 times and glue once when it comes to the matching profiles of the bulkhead and the new nose. You notice I didn't follow the constructional sequence too, with regards to adding the wing before the nose? The one suggested just seemed too illogical.
  19. I'll try and re-cache the skins. Sometimes that can fix things like this. If it's not that, but only specific to those machines, then I would guess that's where the problem might be. I access on my laptop, mobile and iPad with no problems.
  20. Cees, that's pure inspiration. Just amazing. How will you tackle the wings with rib/fabric detail?
  21. I bet it'd really annoy you if I told you I had a box of real ones here?
  22. I'll have to remember the colour mix I used, but it was something like 70% RLM02, and 30% light grey, to get that specific shade.
