Jeroen, did I ever tell you that I hate you. Your talent hacks me off. Your posts fill me with envy and I throw my own projects against the wall immediately afterwards! Seriously, this is bloody superb. I really am very envious of this. It's without a doubt the best Eindecker I've seen to date. You must be real proud of that one.

I have nothing against the Eduard 109's. They build into great models with some careful work. The DML 109's are superb too.

What sort of Fokker is this? The Hien is such a great looking bird.. almost 'German' in appearance. Is that a metal finish with green blotches?

You're probably right. Every picture I saw, whether online or in my books showing period and contemporary pictures, seemed to have different coloured ensembles. In the end, I went with a line of loose fit.

Looks about the same size as the Bolton IPMS show. Hope you have some stall images

Did it build the styrene up to the same level as the tapes?

I have to say I thought the spinner was an odd shape too, generally, and especially at the opening. The dimensions seem 'suspect'.

Would you give those tapes and tailplane a thin coat of Mr Surfacer to build up the surface between the tailplane and tape tops? Looking mighty good, and I can't imagine this one being in injection mould variety for a while yet.

I wish I couldn't paint figures as well as you can't There's nothing wrong with any of that that I can see...subject, painting, composition. Just damn perfect!

This has been static for a while. Hopefully later this year, for a 2014 roll-out.
