Agreed there, Martin. The Shadow 2 is a precision instrument. Specialized competition sights, aggressive grips, a really light trigger, and perfect balance for competition. Absolutely useless as a carry piece or fighting tool, but perfect for sanctioned competition. The Czech factory team kicked butt last year with this exact same rig. Hopefully I can get it to our range on the weekend and put some miles on it. I think it’ll make me look good. This is calling your name if you ever get down here...

Me I’ve been on a pistol kick lately. No clue why, but when I was shopping for a target pistol for Joy, I saw a CZ Shadow 2 competition pistol. The sales guy said everyone so far who held one bought one. I’m here to say he wasn’t kidding. :-/ Now I can get back into competitive handgunning. Yeah, another hobby. LOL! stock pic, but this is it. 9mm competition pistol molded perfectly to my hand. It weighs over 3 lbs empty! But that means it’s rock steady on a pistol course. Not exactly a defensive gun. But a very, very good match gun.

Ivan, judging from your pictures, there are HUGE differences between the two kits. The two seater has none of those latches, and my nose section went together more or less effortlessly. I cut away some of the internal structure to keep potential interference issues at bay, but that’s just my cynical nature at work. So far, I’ve had no real fit issues yet. Fingers crossed.

So sorry to hear that, Tony. I don’t wish my kind of experience on anyone. But I’m glad you’re here as well and let’s enjoy the Christmas Spirit here. I’m so looking forward to being able to draw for these gifts and post the names of the winners. Personally, It’s gonna be my best Christmas ever!

We’ve got ‘em in America as well..... I remember this place in Beverley, Mass., when I lived in Gloucester. I about blew my Dunkin’s Coffee out my nose when I saw this the first time. And this is in Boston’s North End. If you’ve ever been to or lived in Boston, you’ll immediately get this.
