Yeah he kinda went all like cinders... but it was a righteous intercept. Straight and level bogie, no civilian flight plan, no IFF Ident, so 3-2-1-Poof! -
We’ve got ‘em in America as well..... I remember this place in Beverley, Mass., when I lived in Gloucester. I about blew my Dunkin’s Coffee out my nose when I saw this the first time. And this is in Boston’s North End. If you’ve ever been to or lived in Boston, you’ll immediately get this.

I’d just hate to hear what I’d sound like in Chinese.

Be still my beating heat as the old Mk.1 eyeballs have failed me! But both of the reliable Mk.1s failing at exactly the same time? They say that’s statistically impossible, like an A320 losing both engines at once just after takeoff, that’d never happen, right? i may need to get them checked. Maybe it’s time for an upgrade to Mk.1a standards with contacts or glasses? oh be still my bating heart, a scooter build. From California. Huh boy,.. get popcorn and whiskey. Let’s party! -
He is now in Glory with the Lord and with Barbara, his beloved wife of over 70 years. An absolutely true, humble, gentle man, and one of the last true Statesmen. God Bless You, Mr. President.

Well, get with the program, man! -
Reading Belenko’s interview reminded me of so many friends of mine who came from Eastern Europe. His story about discovering American or western culture mirrors theirs almost exactly. Truly hilarious to sit and listen to people talk, but your heart also breaks for the millions of good people not being able to live and shine to their fullest. Like Russian scientists. One hopes things have changed for the better since that interview.

You found the doggie in the box? Cool.

Smitty, I’m well past 50 and certain parts of my body don’t respond as they nice did. So I hopped about on my right leg while holding my left leg as straight out as I could, for as long as I could. I expect that visual gets the point across! That book is one seriously good reference, but no real three views...

Kitty Hawk F-5F done.

I bought the full Eduard set, some Yellow Wings decals, and a bit of reference materiel. It’ll be a semi quirky floatplane build with an awesome opportunity to exercise the airbrush. I’ll warn you though. I built the engine a while back when it was getting trashed online, and it’s an ‘adventure’, not because of poor fit, but because of poor instructions. There’s plenty you can leave off the engine, like rocker covers and most of the accessory section if you’re modeling a closed cowl. I’ll post some pics once the F-5 is done. I think the Kingfisher will display quite nicely next to the HPH PBY-5. Carl, there’s plenty of little details you can odd to the Kingfisher cockpits to make it into a stunner. Mostly in the rear pit with gun mount details, radio wiring, etc.
