Kitty Hawk F-5F done.
Clunkmeister replied to Clunkmeister's topic in LSM 1/35 and Larger Work In Progress
Well, we had the neighbor’s cat over tonight, it jumped up onto my bench and knocked over a full bottle of Tamiya extra thin onto my model. The fin’s destroyed, as is the rear fuselage and front glare shield. The glue was on it for literally 15 seconds. What a total waste of time. I guess I’ll start fresh on another, salvaging what I can from this one. Story of my life -
Had a Convair van once. What a galloping piece of s**t that thing was

I’ve read accounts of Canadian bomber crews who wore flak jackets. I’m not sure if it was commonplace but as far as I knew, they were worn. Hmmmmm -

Oh heck yeah! Let’s get it on. Finish out Glen’s F-5 first, and let’s go! -
Zero to 60 in about two and a half hours. Three if you’re fighting a headwind.

Someone stole the engine!!! Good thing I have a spare in the trunk!!

Compared to HK’s previous releases, the Lanc is simply stunning. I always use fabric seatbelts, brass gun barrels so it’s expected and I’m not in the least bit concerned. Now, the Airscale panel is simply a gorgeous upgrade over any OOB kit offering I’ve ever seen and Eduard PE is a simple personal choice on how far your AMS has progressed. How much work and pain do you want to deal with for a very minor gain in detail? I never open up my models, so engines and such are never a concern to me. I’m extremely happy with my kit. Well Done, HK!

Peter, if he did, he’d be driving a massive white late 60s Cadillac convertible with bull horns on the front, dressed in a white suit, not red, smoking a big, fat cigar and wearing a big ol’ John B. Stetson hat. SANTA, TEXAS STYLE! -

I planned on doing it Christmas Day. Most here are European and North American, so to those a day ahead of us, you’ll just need to hang tight. -

Clunkmeister replied to Clunkmeister's topic in General Discussion
Hey, Thanks for the inquiry. The rules were set as having to have joined the forums before the raffle was started and having to have been active within the previous 365 days. Even one single post within that time would have been sufficient. The terms were set by me when I was given a green light on this, but as I am not a Mod or Admin, of course I’ll gladly defer if they see it differently. Either way, I sincerely hope you’ll join us here and contribute to large scale modeling. This site is happy, fun, and full of modeling genius. Ernie -
That is the END of the box, but there were two boxes taped together, so yeah, two kits. Not 5! But it’s a lot. the other box was cut off. You can see it in the background, and is still sealed up.
