Guys and Gals, I wanted to take the time to explain something to y’all. I’ve gotten a few notes from members here telling me I should enter my name as well. i need to clear this up. I DON’T NEED MORE STUFF. And if I was in it and with me (as far as I know) doing the drawing, if I won something cool, never mind everyone else wondering, I’d feel crazy guilty. My Lanc’s coming, my Mug-9’s coming,.. life’s good. My personal belief is if you’re running the thing, you have no business being in the thing. Can anyone say “Conflict of Interest.” So, enter the raffle, encourage your friends to enter, the list is getting long, and the prizes are super cool. Plus, someone here’s gonna win an HK Lancaster kit! Ho Ho Ho, Mery Christmas everyone! And keep those Su-27s, Mug-31’s, CF-18’s and F-22s in the barn. Santa doesn’t need to be intercepted..

I get that with some airplanes, John. For me, it’s the P-40. No clue why, as it’s one of the most important aircraft of WW2. Can you believe I gave 5 kits iterations, and got so far as cutting cockpit plastic one only one. I love the Jug, Razorback and Bubbletop. They’re big, burly beasts.

Ivan the CZ.75 takes one feature from the Sig, an inside the frame slide. That alone makes it so much tighter and more accurate. The design has so many 1911 and Browning Hi Power features, but it’s got the added benefit of 60 years of learned technology since John Moses Browning designed those classics. The Czechoslovaks certainly make good firearms. Not bad with airplanes, either.

Agreed there, Martin. The Shadow 2 is a precision instrument. Specialized competition sights, aggressive grips, a really light trigger, and perfect balance for competition. Absolutely useless as a carry piece or fighting tool, but perfect for sanctioned competition. The Czech factory team kicked butt last year with this exact same rig. Hopefully I can get it to our range on the weekend and put some miles on it. I think it’ll make me look good. This is calling your name if you ever get down here...

Me I’ve been on a pistol kick lately. No clue why, but when I was shopping for a target pistol for Joy, I saw a CZ Shadow 2 competition pistol. The sales guy said everyone so far who held one bought one. I’m here to say he wasn’t kidding. :-/ Now I can get back into competitive handgunning. Yeah, another hobby. LOL! stock pic, but this is it. 9mm competition pistol molded perfectly to my hand. It weighs over 3 lbs empty! But that means it’s rock steady on a pistol course. Not exactly a defensive gun. But a very, very good match gun.

Martin, I’m in love! Truth prevails! I love it. But, I pop my hopes. They only made 100 and apparently they sell for $9000.00 I’m crazy, but not THAT crazy. Joy would kill me.

Ivan, judging from your pictures, there are HUGE differences between the two kits. The two seater has none of those latches, and my nose section went together more or less effortlessly. I cut away some of the internal structure to keep potential interference issues at bay, but that’s just my cynical nature at work. So far, I’ve had no real fit issues yet. Fingers crossed.

So sorry to hear that, Tony. I don’t wish my kind of experience on anyone. But I’m glad you’re here as well and let’s enjoy the Christmas Spirit here. I’m so looking forward to being able to draw for these gifts and post the names of the winners. Personally, It’s gonna be my best Christmas ever!
