  1. The end result if that was brutally Chernobylish
  2. Regarding Santa's crimes against humanity, yes, I'd say yes, at a bare minimum,: 1. Forcible Confinement and Slave Labour Laws are being broken 2. International Copyright Laws are being Flaunted 3. Forgery on a Grand Scale is occuring. He pays no royalties for the use of Trademarks, etc. 4. Tax Evasion of the likes unequaled anywhere in history 5. Just about every Civil Aviation Airworthiness, Licensing, Airman Compliance, Competence and Currency, and Navigation Rule ever written has been flagrantly flaunted and broken. 6. And he's probably just an asshole. I saw him in the mall one, drunk, slip Mrs. Murphy the tongue. Gross!
  3. Nope, no Christmas night mad Birthday Suit dash for me. I'm staying fully clothed this time.
  4. You're in, and you're donating a Hasegawa 190A something or other. I'll get back to you, I gotta check the box!
  5. Now that looks like wild ride, Peter! Good to see you back my friend, and Happy Birthday!!!!!
  6. Some cool, cool stuff there, eh. Thanks Ivan. I honestly appreciate that, Comrade. If there was an emoji for a fist people power salute, I'd use it. Twice. Maybe thrice. Between you and Martin my super secret Ex Soviet Spy friend, you seem to have found all the pictures of all the aircraft of all time. Martin even found very unflattering pictures of me while I was semi inebriated.....
  7. The sad thing about all that is that most of it is stuff that's pretty much small scale stuff that sells for a couple bucks on the bargain table in the LHS and at giveaway prices . Not much has any real "street value", per se. I'm not into collector kits as some are, I'm a builder, and as a result I like resin and anything that'll give me the most accurate version of an aircraft with the least amount of BS. My stash is all decent stuff and despite rumors to the contrary, looks worse than it is because it's all large scale kits with large scale boxes. And my wife knows exactly what to do if I get hit by a bus.
  8. They nuked Santa with a Genie! A bit of an overkill?
  9. Sharknose is the only one I saw. But I wasn't looking closely. I'll recheck tonight. But I do happen to have a couple Hasegawa kits handy that can donate their pointy ends...
  10. Well, my grandmother always told me, “If you can’t dazzle them with brilliance, baffle them with bullschitt”. So based upon those words I live by, and that this is a quick build with no sea level change for the cockpit floor and no deepening of the seat bottoms, I shall endeavor to place an official looking dark grey box on the glareshield, and maybe increase its importance astomomically by running two or three leads from it. The rest of the panel? Oh well.
  11. He’s got quite the stash. And I thought I was insane, but there seems to be no rhyme or reason to what he has. Just piles of kits. 80% of mine is WW2 and earlier British, German, and some US. Postwar mostly US, British and Czechoslovakian. And I want to build it all. The only thing I saw that piqued my interest was the Revell-Lodella Beaufighter.
  12. Can this be built without all the goofy turbocharger ducting in place? Either way, I'm looking forward to seeing this develop
  13. Awesome, Fran. We finally have our first target.
  14. Ivan the MiG-23 man comes to the rescue on the MiG-28 as well. Thank you, Sir!
  15. I think someone got stuck on one going to Britain, Hubert, but maybe I labelled it wrong.
  16. Hubert, that's a great point. Another thing to bear in mind that those of us in the USA and Canada can sometimes lose sight of, or even not even realize. (I only found out a few months back). Most Western Social Democracies have a thing called GST and or VAT. It's often payable on every single thing imported into the Country, even gifts. VAT and other taxes in some instances can run 30-40% of the retail value of the kit or more, plus convenience fees on the shipping, brokerage fees on Customs, duties, excise, and all those other fees that Governments find to slap on. So suddenly that "free gift" ends up costing a pretty penny. Plus the cost of shipping. OK, I'll put Scrooge McDuck back to bed.
  17. Harv. Read the above, and lay off the Joy Juice. The correction sheet has the fix.
  18. Somebody put a hit out on Santa? Victor the Cleaner is going active? The big question, Will the Mig-31s get him before NORAD does?
  19. What I know of jets: 1. air goes in the front 2. fire comes out the back 3. they go really fast 4. they look really cool 5. they're really loud
  20. Wokka wokka woo woo!
