  1. The money people actually get the final say. KH was going to kit an F-11 Tiger, had it well on the way. The money people said it wouldn't have enough worldwide appeal in our scale, and POOF, gone just like that.
  2. A B-36 doesn't cry out cold war? If it doesn't, nothing does.
  3. B-36!!!!! Goodness you say no 1/32 jets because they take up too much room?
  4. Kinetic boxing is the Academy kit. Always forget that one, Has sprues to do A, A+, B, and D in the box I think.
  5. oops, started out thinking Canadian. Academy Hornet is an amazing kit. Hard to come by nowadays, but some have been on ebay selling for a moderate price. You can spruce it up with the usual goodies like cockpit, burner cans, intakes, etc , but is great oob. If you can't find the Academy "A" Hornet for a good price there is an Avionix "A" conversion out there for the "C" Hornet kits. Difference is mostly cockpit, vertical stabilizers, and vents.
  6. I'll make sure to take tons of detail shots of the Zulu Cobra's at Miramar so you can't use them over the next six months.
  7. I am heading down for all three days. All the usual suspects...Blues, MAGTAF, F-35, AV-8B...yada yada. However this year joining the Blue Angels are the RAF Red Arrows!!! Gonna be bitchin'! Here are some flashback photos.
  8. I read somewhere that actually the average age was down this year, but why do all that if you don't need to. Looks like a one stop shop for 2021.
  9. Wow! SO the Vegas crew has a crap ton of info ready to go, and soon room reservation codes for 2021! Have barely heard anything about next year yet. I have a feeling Vegas will be crazzzzzzy!! https://forum.ipmsusa3.org/topic/21205-2021-national-convention-in-las-vegas-nevada/
  10. You sure you want the family to get a glimpse of us?
  11. What won best of show, and best overall aircraft? Did some sort of tractor win again?
  12. I understand it will be in the Rio Hotel and Casino, so in that situation we won't even have to walk anywhere for food, Buffet city!! Looks like if you get the right room you could watch touch and go's at Nellis from your couch! Just over $100 bucks a night I understand!
  13. I would think more of a guide instead of a host if any pre NATS plans come to fruition.
  14. Pork is more of a southern thing. Beef brisket and beef ribs are what are the staples of Texas BBQ.
  15. A guitar and some slow smoked cow..... maybe some gunpowder.
  16. 2020 is in Texas, not far from Herr Clunkmeister's home.
  17. Have a feeling Vegas will be a good one as a direct result of such happenings.
  18. ….and I can drive and take multiple builds, and something real big!!
  19. Ya I have never been, and would have little desire to go there otherwise. However it seems like it would be great for a convention. They have a lot of stuff to do there besides gambling now. Gonna be some good plane spotting at Nellis, and they have ranges you can go to and shoot just about any weapon you desire(or can afford).
