  1. . . . .......... Was that a Double Dog Dare.......... Now we are getting serious ................ .... . Mike
  2. . . . Greetings Nick; Nice Dio............. well done............ But I have a problem with your 20mm ammo. Why are the projectiles painted blue ...... ? If I am not mistaken, according to NATO, blue is supposes to designate a dummy, or in-active round. Anyway.................. very nice ............ Mike
  3. . . Greetings Paul; A very nice Israeli M-60 .................... Nice work .......... , Mike
  4. . . . Greetings Steve; Back to the A-4/H Skyhawk ............ ..... In the old days we loaded the A-4/Es with a TER, and six Mk-82s, on the center line, and two external tanks on the inter pylons. With two MERs, with Mk81s, on the outer pylons. Granted......... we also had F-4s for fighter cover, and a EA-6 Prowler for ECM. jamming. It may be worth consideration....... The A-4 is very impressive with this load out. Have a good one, Mike
  5. . . . Greetings Steve; .... Your idea sounds ok to me other than. If you want the A/C to carry 6 Mk 82s, you will need to use a TER, not a MER. *** MER, (three), TER, (six). *** Good Luck, Mike
  6. . . . Greetings Seiran01, James, and Guys, & Gals; .... The ME-410 in 1/32 scale would be a nice addition to the two engine collection....... Mike
  7. . . . Greetings Dave, Guys & Gals; Thank you, for the up-date....... . I was unaware of the Relish Resins up-dates. I will have to get some of these. The Avionix Resin Cockpit set is also nice ...... . I may get one of these also. It looks very impressive, and the cost is also not bad. Two conversion that I am looking at is the P-61/E, and the F-15 Reporter. They would both make nice conversions. I agree with your thoughts as far as the Engine in the P-61/C. My reference leads me in the same direction, the P&W R-2800/73. .... P-61/E ..... .... LD..... . .... Something for the rivet counters ...... ..... . Thanks Dave, Mike
  8. . . . Greetings all; ..... Cees........ I agree with you on the Beau-es color scheme. I love the Coastal Command colors ...... . ....................... . Mike
  9. . . Greetings David, Guys, & Gals; ..... I picked up one of the HB P-61 model kits last month. One of the nice things that I found, was the lack of pouch holes, of mold separation marks....... . For the most part it is a very nice addition to the 1/32 scale tween engine aircraft model line. One main area of concern, that Dav. broth out, is the engine problem. This subject has been highly debated on the web lately. At this time I thing we can all agree that the P-61/A & /B used the P&W R-2800/10 and the P&W R-2800/65. ..... At this time the P-61/C engine is still under debate..... ..... The engine problem as far as the HB P-61 model: The engines are very well done, but they lack any kind of exhales stacks. also if you plain to show them of, you will have to cut the engine nacelles open or find replacements. For a experienced builder this should not be that big of a problem. The greater problem is with the cowl flaps open, the missing exhale stacks will be very evident. ..... Eduard has a engine mod out. This mainly deals with the engine baffles, and a new set of cowl flaps. But again no exhale pipes........... ....... the Eduard engine mod ..... .... ..... .... .... .... . On Eduard's web site you can get a copy of the instructions in PDF format. **** The good news *** Eduard is working on a interior add-on for the HB P-61 ...... . If it is anywhere as nice as the ones they make for the 1/4 scale model kits.............. it should be very nice. The tell me the release date is next month, July, 2013. ..... Like all models...... it has a few problems. But in the hands of a good builder........... .... .... . Mike
  10. . . Greetings Grant; The USAAF used the Beau fighter, and the Mosquito for night radar fighters, until late 1943, early 1944. When they where replaced by the Northrop P-61. Greetings Cees; ...... Looking good .......... . Mike
  11. . . Greetings Tomas, & All; ...... Very nice project, and it is looking great ....... .... . Several years ago I read an article about a guy that built one of the 1/32 scale Vac. B-29. At the time that he bought the model kit, I reckon he did not think about it. He lived in a trailer house, after finishing the kit, he had to cut a hole in the side of the trailer to get the thing out ....... . ..... I hope you have made a continence plan, for this type of thing. Anyway looking good ..... . Thanks for the tip about simulating the rubber de-icing boots. Mike
  12. Greetings Guys, & Gals; The other night I was on the WEB doing one of my bug searches and I ran across this site. For those of you that are unfamiliar with it, you may what to give it a few of your hard earned hours..... ..... The name of the web site is, Military History Encyclopedia on the Web. ..... URL: http://www.historyofwar.org/pictures.html Enjoy, Mike
  13. . . Greetings David, Guys, & Gals; ..... Beautifully done ............... Very nice indeed..... Mike
  14. Greetings David; Nice Review .............. Mike .
  15. . . Greetings Chris, Guys, & Gals; ...... Another nice posting of you excellent Mossie. Over the years I have seen quite a few builds of the Mosquito. They have all been nice..... But I believe your has be the best that I have seen, so far. More than likely it is the British, Sky, painted under color. I love the Coastal Command WW-II color scheme. Anyway, I think you Mosquito is .............................. ..... Mike .
  16. . . . Very Nice............... I hope mine will look as good as yours.......... excellent work. Mike . . . .... ,,,, .....
  17. . . Greetings; Looking good........... I have the model kit, but I am waiting on Eduard ...... They tell me next month ........... so I am working on the Reference end. ..... You have a good start on the model ...... . Mike .... .... .... ....
  18. . . Greetings David, Very nice interior on the B--17. Are you using Balsa wood to simulate the floor, or are you painting it. ither way it looks great........ . Mike .... .... ....

  20. Greetings All; Nice............. I love the work you have done on the 2.75in rocket .... looking good. Bee cool, Mike
  21. Greetings Guys; I recently picked up one of the HB P-61 kits. I am currently waiting to see what Eduard has in mind for this Widow. They say next month .... There add-ons for the 1/48 scale Black widows are just short of in creditable. "O" yea, back to the subject in the discussion. I have been looking at the 1/32 scale HE-219 for sometime now. This will more than likely be my next model purchase. HK's B-17/G also has some nice possibilities. But, again, what do you do with if when you are finished. Nice work on the cockpit looks ........... Great. Mike
  22. Greetings; What can I say, that hasn't already been said ..... Very nice work.... Indeed ..... :-) Mike
