After doing some heavy research and calculations, with help from some members and customers, I have come up with a new rate structure for my friends in Canada. Starting immediately, I am charging a flat shipping for all Quinta Studio items up to 3/4 pound (about 350 grams), price will vary depending on order total. So what does this mean? With help of a few of you testing shipping options, I was able to determine that the lowest current postal rate was about $15.50, the highest was about $23.50, so about an average of $19.50 USD. I have decided that I will absorb some of the shipping costs myself and offer a flat rate fee of $13.50 for orders up to $100, $8.50 for between $100 to $175, and FREE Shipping for orders over $175. For the sake of simplicity, this covers all provinces in Canada. This applies to all in-stock as well as pre-order Quinta Studio Items. If you place an order for items that are in stock and items on order, the whole order will hold until they arrive in stock. Thanks for everyone for helping, hopefully, I can figure out if there is an economical way to ship to Canada. So far I have been shocked by some of the rates. But I am going to do a deep dive and try to find some way to make shipping work better.

I really was wanting to stock these, but Infinity has never answered any inquiries from me, and I can’t find a distributor in the US who will sell them. I can get it from Japan, but I would have to pay nearly retail.

Just looking for some info on how the shopping cart is calculating certain items. And want to see if eBay is jacking up shipping costs as well. I find it ridiculous how much USPS is charging.

Hello my Canadian neighbors, I was hoping to get a few people to help me with doing a little testing. It was brought to my attention today that my website was not calculating shipping properly and not allowing shipping of small items at all (Quinta Studios). I have corrected this and I now am offering shipping to Canada on them, but I would like to work on reducing this even further. I was hoping a few people could help me do a little testing. I am looking for somebody from each province to test a three different products and take a few screenshots with the shipping costs being offered to you. As these are carrier calculated, I do not see what is actually displayed on your end. My goal is to understand what is being offered and try to get you the best rates possible. I am also considering alternate shippers as well, and this may lead to discovering some better methods. Scott, I have been there. We moved from Dallas to Nashville a few years ago. I have many LARGE boxes for my stash, lucking the unbuilt ones were easy to transport. It was the built kits that proved difficult, I ended up using plastic totes from Home Depot and lots of foam to pack things, most made it fine only losing a few minor things like ailerons, flaps, and one landing gear, all have been repaired. I truly do understand every thought you are having.

First of all I wanted to thank everyone who has ordered a Quinta Studios set (or anything else) from my store, www.hobbynutmodels.com , the amount of these I ship is just staggering, I typically sell out half my restock order every time I order. My goal is to stock the entire lineup, as well as the matching kits (proving much more difficult to get ahold of), so Ill keep sharing new releases and try to keep everyone updated with stock levels. Also, I just wanted to remind you I carry the full range and I usually stock everything in 1/32, but if it has sold out, I always have an order for more in the pipeline and and another order in the works at all times. Please be patient, Quinta prints all orders on demand, so typically my lager order take 7-10 days to manufacture, and another 7-10 days to ship from Russia (I do pay for overnight courier, but "overnight" is said tongue-in-cheek.
