  1. While my computer was down I decided to pull this one from the SOD and see about finishing it. After doing some fixing and re-do it's just about done. I'll post some photos shortly.
  2. I very much agree Chris! 🙂
  3. LOL Jeff! That sure would have surprised me!!!!!! 😄
  4. I'm glad to be back!!!! I had to replace the hard drive on my computer and didn't have any internet since Tuesday. Sure was a bummer!!!!! It's very nice of you guys to be concerned about my absence! 😀 Since I had no computer and internet I spent a lot of time modeling. I'll post some photos soon. 🙂
  5. Since the Hasegawa kits are such easy builds it's not really surprising the builds go fast. The only thing that slowed this one down was the Aires cockpit which took some "fitting" as it seems all Aires parts require. I'll get the wings and tail plane's in place later this afternoon if all goes well. 🙂
  6. A Hasegawa Bf-109F-4 this time as a follow up on the Eduard E-4. The cockpit is a Aires set with FineMolds belts. I have several '109's I want to build as it makes no sense to just let 'em sit on the shelf. I'll have a '109G-10 Erla soon. 🙂 Then MAYBE I'll do a '190 or two. 🙂
  7. Sounds good Peter. I'm happy to be of help!🙂
  8. Thank you Peter! I'm happy you like the results of my efforts. I'm happy with the way it turned out and that you guys like the diagram I included. Something a bit different! 😃
  9. I'm glad you like it Carl, thanks! I had hoped there would be some interest in the diagram. 😃
  10. Thanks! Yes, freehand it was and very carefully! LOL
  11. Thanks for the nice comments Chris. Very much appreciated. 😃
  12. If any of you are interested I put together this diagram detailing what paints and colors I used on this model.
  13. Finished with this one. https://forum.largescalemodeller.com/topic/20236-eduard-bf-109e-rfi/
  14. Completed this one today. I was very pleased with the fit and detail of this kit. I decided on this particular a/c since, to me, the markings and camo are very eye catching. Most of the decals came from my decal stash plus I had to print the codes "S9-CT" using my computer and printer. I used Testor's MM and White Ensign paints. Seat belts are from FineMolds. I hope you like it! Click on the 1st photo, etc as always.
  15. Thank you. Painting is completed. Getting ready for some decals! 🙂
  16. Progress in painting. Next I'll get started on the fuselage camo which uses some different RLM colors from the wings 74/75.
  17. Painting now under way! I'll start on the uppers in a bit. 🙂
  18. Making some nice progress today. I'll get started painting shortly.
  19. My fingers are crossed too Peter. So far it looks like it'll go well. 🙂
  20. That's a neat looking paint scheme. It's what decided me on doing this particular a/c. Should be a eye catcher! 😃
  21. Maybe the day after tomorrow. LOL🙃
  22. Back to this one now. I was able to get the fuselage halves and cowling on without too much cussing! Now maybe I can get with the rest of the program with this one. 🙂
  23. Indeed Peter. This one is now on the SOD.
  24. Thanks Carl. Yep, this one is putting up a fight. I'll email SH and see if they have what I need.
