I'm calling this one done. As per all my 1/32 P-39 builds I added the 3/16" "plug" to the rear fuselage so the length was correct. Seat belts are Fine Molds, wheels, instrument panel, seat and a few other odds and ins are from the Kitty Hawk kit. Gun barrels are tubing from my stash. Painted with MM 34087 OD and 36231 Dk. Gull Gray. The interior is what was called "Bell Green" and I mixed several colors of MM to come up with my "interpretation" of the proper color as compared to photos. Decals are from the KH kit (thanks Peter!) except for the national insignias which are Super Scale. I hope y'all like the results of my efforts. Thanks Kevin. Some times a good color scheme can make a not-so-good-looking a/c look pretty good! LOL

So far so good Peter. Those kit decals are awfully thin and delicate but, so far, they are behaving okay.

Thanks Peter. I just finished applying the clear gloss a few minutes ago. When that's dry, etc it'll be time to start with the decals.

Just about ready for some paint but first it needs a little more attention to a couple of seams. Coming right along.

No, the IP is right where it should be. The only noticeable difference is the change in wing guns from 4 .30's to 2 .50's in pods.

Their instructions do leave a lot to be desired. 😐

Making some progress. The seat, guns and IP are from the KH kit. The seat belts are Fine Molds. I replaced the control stick with one from my spares stash. Remember to click on the photos for best resolution.

The new canopy and exhaust parts from Aerocraft Models arrived today. Really nice stuff which will enhance the model no end. But, right now, I'm working on the SH P-39 so the P-51B will have to wait a bit.
