  1. I hope so Peter.
  2. Since I am unable to come up with a after market AN/APS-4 radar pod in 1/32 I will make my own. I used 2 bombs from my Fischer Sea Fury kit to get started.
  3. I really like the Testor's Model Master Dark Sea Blue. Alternatively Xtracolor is good also.
  4. I had originally planned to do a 3-color scheme Peter but have since decided on overall GSB. Exactly WHICH a/c I haven't decided yet. Gonna have to be soon though.
  5. I don't think it will be a problem. It's Montex vinyl and will usually peel off with no problem (I hope).
  6. Should be a really good looking '51 Ernie. I look forward to seeing the finished model!
  7. Pretty big alright. Coming along okay.
  8. Looking like a for sure TBM now.
  9. Thanks very much MARU.
  10. I considered folding the wings but decided I didn't want to fight that weird wing fold setup. Sure would take up less room though! Big model.
  11. Not too bad at all Peter. Fingers crossed for no problems down the road.
  12. Wings on! I was pleasantly surprised they snapped into place nicely. Please pardon the crummy photo(s).
  13. Just about ready to attach the wings.
  14. Respirator?!! We don't need no stinkin respirator!!! LOL Get a good one Ernie.
  15. Sure looking good Peter!
  16. I'd be in for a Traders Board too.
  17. As I would like to finish my TBM as a -3E I would need a radar pod. Do any of you know if anyone makes one in 1/32?
  18. Thanks Jeff. I used some thinned Tamiya acrylic black to accent the folds, etc. Works fine. John
  19. Thanks very much MARU.
  20. Damn Trumpeter and their uberfiddly crap! Working (or TRYING to) on the wings. There are several PE pieces to attach to the wing stubs and outer wings. Also some silly soft "hinges" for the ailerons with more PE fiddly bits. For me they have a pretty high cuss-factor. My all-thumbs clumsiness doesn't make it any easier. Okay, rant over.
  21. Welcome MARU. Looks like a lot of folks are making the change.
  22. Thanks Ernie. Not a bad kit to build.
  23. I think I have that sorted out so NOW I can move on to the wings.
  24. Thanks Peter. It always seems to be SOMETHING".
