  1. This is coming along nicely. Looking real good!
  2. Thanks! I'm glad to see you here on the bright side!
  3. Thanks Ernie. I should finish assembling the wings shortly. Some fit headaches.
  4. Thanks Peter. Much easier for clumsy me!
  5. LOL For sure!
  6. LOL Thanks! You can't have too many references!
  7. If Harold does make the pod then I could have saved myself the effort. No, I didn't add the scope. Isn't it down in the rear fuselage for the radio operator? Would be very hard to see so not really worth the effort.
  8. Thanks and WELCOME!
  9. How about this P-47? Available in 1/72 and 1/48 but, as far as I know, not in 1/32.
  10. Looks like some nice stuff. I'll have to check out his site.
  11. Thanks.
  12. I find the solution to be: attach the "lips" then insert the vanes one at a time.
  13. Now I find this creates a problem fitting the "lips" (E8 & E9) to the intakes. Re-thinking this now.
  14. Agreed! As a example, here's a shot of the intakes and louvers. The kit PE pieces are VERY fiddly (a good example of the cuss-factor). I decided to use little strips of sheet plastic instead.
  15. Onward and upward as they say.
  16. I hope to finish it off this time Peter.
  17. We'll see Ernie!
  18. I have my fingers crossed on this build Mike. Cuss-factor and all!
  19. I have to say that, in my humble opinion, it has a high cuss-factor. Especially the very fiddly PE parts for the intake dividers. I may substitute some plastic strips cut to size as I think that would be much easier.
  20. I had begun work on this kit a few months ago and lost my "want to" and put it away for "later". Well, now is later, at least for the foreseeable future. Here's a pic to show it's current state. We'll see how it goes.
  21. Thank you Martin. Something a little bit different than just OOB. Scratching the pod was easier than I first thought.
  22. Thanks Peter! It took me forever to decide on WHICH markings I was going to go with and I'm happy with the one's I decided on.
  23. Thanks Cees. I'm pleased with it and I'm glad you like it. Thanks again!
