  1. It's funny alright. Someone used the same video when Testor's bailed on some of their paint a couple of years ago.
  2. Looks like I'll do this one (unless I change my mind again! LOL). I'll leave off the the paint on the nose as I'm sure this a/c had solid sea blue there at one time.
  3. Yes, I have some of that and it's good stuff.
  4. OUCH!!!!!!!!
  5. Undecided right now but likely up (to save display space!).
  6. Thanks Carl. I'm glad to see that you are a member here too.
  7. Yes, they are enjoyable builds as are the P-51's and Spitfires. I just wish they would do a couple of F6F Hellcats.
  8. Thanks Dave! That sounds like a good plan.
  9. Well said Mike.
  10. Just about done with the cockpit.
  11. No it's CA gel. Scale Hobbyist has it. I think using it will be more convenient than the IC Gel I have used. It won't replace the Testor's tube glue though.
  12. Thanks Bill. Not yet on the current -1D. Just about to get the cockpit finished. Pics soon.
  13. I've decided to give this one a try. I've used IC Gel for a while but it looks like this might be just the ticket.
  14. Thanks Jeff. I take a look at it.
  15. Thanks Bill.
  16. YES!!!!
  17. Right on Jeroen!
  18. Thanks Jeff. I'm glad you like it.
  19. Thick CA is one thing I do use. I was hoping someone made a non-stringy polystyrene glue but I guess we'll have to be happy with Testor's stuff.
  20. I've used Testor's tube glue for many years. The only gripe I have with it is it's so stringy. I've looked around on several suppliers sites for a alternative but haven't found anything that looks like a good replacement. Any suggestions?
  21. Since Peter and Ernie are posting some of their favorite builds I thought I'd join in. This is my Tamiya F4U-1D build #2 (of 9 Tamiya Corsairs from -1 to -1D). Off the USS Bennington 1945.
  22. That will be a real beauty! Outstanding work so far.
  23. Beautiful work! Truly outstanding.
