  1. Thank you Carl! I'm happy that you like it. Thanks again.
  2. Yes, I've seen photos of it. The P-40 just looks "different" in NMF.
  3. This is next up and should be a nice looking out of the usual model. Seems like there were very few NMF P-40's that saw combat. This one is a 49th FG, 7 FS a/c. Just getting started and will post a photo or two shortly.
  4. Thank you Chris! I'm happy you like the way it turned out. I like it too!
  5. Thanks Peter. I am glad you like the model. Saved from the SOD! LOL
  6. Finished with this build. https://forum.largescalemodeller.com/topic/20183-revell-me-262b-finished/
  7. After many trials and tribulations it's finally finished. Seat belts were the only after market hardware. Painted with Aeromaster RLM 76, 82 and 83. Decals are by Xtradecals. I don't usually have the canopy closed on my builds but this a/c just LOOKS better that way in my opinion. I hope y'all like it! Please remember to click on the 1st photo for best resolution, etc. THANKS!
  8. Thanks! I sprayed the clear flat this morning so now all that's needed is to attach the canopies and pitot tube. Should have it done in a little bit.
  9. This certainly is a departure from the "norm" Peter! Branching out into a different area of modeling is usually a good mojo enhancer! I look forward to following your build.
  10. Thanks Carl. It surely is a fussy one! I hope to finish it off tomorrow.
  11. I've decided it'll do so I started decaling. Fingers crossed all will go well since those Xtradecals are VERY thin.
  12. Dapple camo done. I'm undecided if it looks "right" or not. Might need a little "adjusting" but I'm interested in what you guys think. Remember, I'll do a little more after the decals are on, especially the tail.
  13. Thanks Kevin. At one time I didn't think I'd ever get to this point. Now it's time to start on the dappling camo. Tricky since that can make or break the model. Fingers crossed!
  14. Thanks Chris. I agree, it IS a beast of a kit. A pain in the arse from word go but, I hope, all that is behind me now (no pun intended! LOL).
  15. Good progress on painting today. Now it's time to set it down for a bit.
  16. Seems a little "bright" but I'm going to leave it be.
  17. Aeromaster RLM 83 done. Now for the RLM 82. After that I can start on the dappled camo on the sides.
  18. Undersides painted RLM 76. Now on to the uppers RLM 82 and 83.
  19. Getting there Kevin! Fingers crossed.
  20. Thanks Carl. I'm glad it's seems to be on the downhill slide. I plan to start painting tomorrow.
  21. Thank you Peter. My fingers are crossed also but it looks like all the hassle is done. I'll start painting either tonight or tomorrow. I'm hoping for a really cool dappled camo job.
  22. Nacelles, etc attached. Now to sand and smooth out the putty.
  23. That ought to dress it up nicely Scott. When the really nice Xtradecal sheet for this 262 showed up I decided to resume the build. Not a real fun build but it ought to be a real looker when finished (I hope!).
