  1. PW, very much appreciated. Just nothing like a Tamiya kit for pure fun and enjoyment.
  2. Rob Completely agree and right with Chris. I was a good forum friend with Karim on the LSP forum many years ago and he is an incredible modeler.
  3. Dave Fantastic Front Office - absolutely gorgeous work.
  4. Mike Fingers crossed and she is a beauty. Going to be awesome finish today as the Big Sikorsky crosses the line.
  5. Gus, thanks for the info and good to know he is ok.
  6. Thanks Mike, yup, the desert scheme it is.
  7. Thanks Chris, a perfect pair for the GB.
  8. Rob Good to know you will be taking a vacation in Berlin which is perfect. I've followed a number of MFH builds and on a number of Ferrari if I remember correctly and there were a number of body fit issues, especially with the doors and bonnet. My money is riding on you that you will work the parts to a perfect fit.🏆
  9. Mike Absolutely - for my two cents, those were the most colorful days in American and world aviation.
  10. Just arrived as the kit was just released this week and now I have my builds for the Sandbox GB Eduard PE Set - two frets in thew set
  11. Rob Glad you're getting out in the fresh air and most important of all, 'getting your head free'. Your progress on the Cobra is amazing and as Carl said, your work actually looks like a restoration - incredible work. I guess even MFH kits aren't perfect and after reworking those few parts, brilliant progress. Thoroughly enjoying the journey. 🏆
  12. Gus Nice progress on the excavator arm - looking good.
  13. Carl Nice progress - chassis is looking mighty good.
  14. Fingers crossed all is OK.
  15. Mike Amazing progress and the Big Sikorsky is looking so good. Pulling so hard and absolutely fingers crossed, you'll be across the finish line before the deadline.
  16. PW You're almost there, keep it going as the Jaguar is so close to crossing the finish line. Nothing like the older kits from the 70's (back in the 70's) to make us appreciate what we have now. But somehow back then, they were just so enjoyable to build, where we didn't worry about anything other then getting it built and on the display shelf - no display cases back then either. It was all about fun. My turning point came when I found the Squadron Shop in Syosset and joined a local IPMS club. Filling seams and air brushing were new found skills and those two skills were the heart of my modeling for years to come.
  17. Scott Best wishes for a full and speedy recovery. Just follow the doctors' instructions, rest and no bench time - let that knee rest and recover.
  18. Chris I know this has been an ongoing medical issue and facing it head on in my book, is one tough act. If it were me, I doubt I could have done what you have done. Fingers crossed and wishing you a full recovery my friend.
  19. Dave Nice work on applying the Red Fox Details. I'm going to buy a bottle of the Quinta 3d Decal Glue and give it a try as since I started using their decals years ago, my glue of choice has been Micro Krystal Kleer and I'm curious as to the difference in application.
  20. Mike Nothing as good as when you're riding with the modeling gods. Your POA for finishing the Big Sikorsky sounds perfect and the rigging is absolutely the way to go. Looking forward to the ceremonies as you cross the finish line.
