  1. Thanks Gus. I followed your beautiful Tomcat build and it was a gem. I built a Tamiya Tomcat a few years back and what a joy. Looking forward to building number two.
  2. Guy Looking forward to the build for sure and glad you will be along for the journey.
  3. Dennis Sounds perfect.
  4. Mike Shouldn't as I'm in with a 48th scale F-14.
  5. Martin I'm waiting for their Vb as well and having her join all the other 32nd scale Spitfires in my display case. It's hard for me to believe, but I've actually built more 32nd scale Spitfires then any other aircraft.
  6. Thanks Martin Got ya just wanted to be sure it was OK.
  7. Hi Martin I posted these two photographs in Rules for the road and maybe just delete the post itself. I p[osted them in the wrong place.
  8. Carl Perfect timing as the SU-33 easily qualifies for the GB. Hoping to keep my Tomcat mostly OOB except for the Quinta cockpit set and the Furball decals. Ejection seats might be AM, not sure yet.
  9. Carl Love them Tomcats. I have a Tamiya D in the stash and need to build it in the near future, as I keep hearing her call my name. With the GB going for the next six months, time for you to clean up some space on the bench and join in.
  10. Thanks Mark The Big Cat will be sharing the bench while I finish up my Jug and then it's all out on the Tomcat.
  11. PW Nothing like a Tomcat, especially when I've lived the past 54 years in Suffolk County, Home of Grumman's in Calverton.
  12. Shall do, just have to run out and do a few errands and then I'll send you the link/post to remove.
  13. I'm with Mark and liking the Lightening.
  14. Hi Ernie Holy. smokes, you're off to a great start and an incredible amount of work in an hour and thirtyfive minutes
  15. My entry which I already put in the wrong forum (Martin please remove it and I'll post by build here). Will be starting on the 25th, as I finish up my Jug build. Tamiya 1/48 F-14A Tomcat and using the brilliant Furball Deal sheet for the VF114 Aardvarks & the Quinta cockpit set.
  16. I'm in with a Tamiya 1/48 F-14A Tomcat with the brilliant Furball set for VF114 The Aardvarks.
  17. Martin, I'm in and six months would be way more then enough time. Tamiya 1/48 F-14A Tomcat - VF 114 The Ardvarks.
  18. Yup, it's surely wide open. Ff course, a single person has two legs for his or her motive power.
  19. PW, to tell you the truth, we were/are really good guys. But maybe I was a bit less troublesome .
  20. When I first saw the photographs of the warped and twisted fuselage halves, I just never thought the kit could be saved - so glad I was wrong. One masterful build.
  21. I'm in for sure ... BTW, I'm an identical twin! Does that count? I already have a headache thinking about the possibilities.
  22. WOW! Your T-28 looks brilliant and what you had to go to correct the kits por molding and warps, it's just so hard to believe we are looking at the kit .... amazing work. 🏆
  23. My bad, I thought is was a done deal. There was a thread a number a months ago about this year's GB but it just faded away.
  24. The new GB for 2024. Rules seem pretty simple. Has a time frame been set?
