Carl Pretty neat redo project and now even a dinosaur is sharing space on the bench. Looking forward to seeing him/her in paint and ready for action. -

Scott Looking might good as the Blue Angels Blue is looking mighty smooth and glossy. I would just keep doing what you are doing, as the results speak for themselves - a sunglasses shine. -
KH T-28C from SOD is back on SOD.

John good call and onto your next build. -
Thanks John and of course the only way I'll ever catch you in the number of builds is if I hire an army of elves to work me 24/7 for 12 straight months. 😉

Thanks so much Mike as they were all fun and enjoyable builds. Wish you and your family the best wishes for the holidays and the New Year.

Thanks Scott .. it turned out to be a good build year despite all the time my wife and I take care of our medical issues. Yup, don't rush to just add one more to the list. Enjoy the build at your own pace and the build goes into next year's count not that there is award other then looking at the display case and admiring your own work and the self-satisfaction that goes with it. 🏆

Thanks PW, very much appreciated

Carl Looking mighty cool. Agreed about the wash to bring out the details. -
Thanks Kev, you surely hit it right on the head when it comes to Revell. terrible boxes and their kits all have a few issues but when done, they look great in the display case and well worth the time and effort. For the money, they can't be beat.

Thanks Carl, much appreciated. A good modeling year for me.

Thanks Dennis so very much appreciated. Nothing to be jealous about, as life has a habit of getting in the way. Peter

Thanks Phil So very much appreciated. It surely has been one of my best years at the bench.

John Surely would be but KH's QC was just outstanding and way too high of a cuss factor. -

John Good move ... one reason why KH is no longer around. -
Thanks, Ernie, for organizing and running another terrific raffle. Merry Christmas

PW Very much appreciate the information - I had no idea and being and antiseptic, it has to be safe. -

PW Need to check it out but even it doesn't have a odor, doesn't mean it isn't harmful These days (wish I started wearing a respirator when I was in my twenties) I don't take any chances, especially being a cancer survivor. I know I've said this before, but all the glues we use and they are solvents have to be as toxic as solvent based paints, I don't know of anyone who wears a respirator or mask when gluing, including me. . -
Oliver Mery Christmas and happy Holidays Ho Ho Ho
-
Oliver As always ... simply brilliant work.
-
Thanks John, as always, you guided me through a very confusing part of the build for me and lesson learned - just ask first. 😉
-
Thanks Martin, much appreciated. Painting is my favorite part of any build and I've already had a few redo's as getting use to working in 48th scale just a bit of time.

Thanks Chris Very much appreciated. All the air brush work has been done with an H&S Infinity Plus with a .2 tip @ 15 psi. working pressure. The clips are a builder's best friend. The short metal clips come with the Tamiya circular paint stand that I used mainly when do cars - the clips are awesome. Also with the set is the car holder base - well worth the money just for the eight clips. The tall alligator clips are the ones with the metal rods and not the wood ones as these should be less prone to breaking. The allegator clips even came with rubber tips which I removed but put them back on when I worry about the 'teeth' marking the paint/plastic. The holder was an idea I picked up from Nigel's Modeling bench web site a long time ago and slightly modified it. Works tremendous and cost me nothing to make. yes, the tags/strips are part numbers to help from installing the part in the wrong place or out of sequence, which In the past, I was famous for.
