  1. Not at all Paul. This kit is falling together by itself. The issues with assembly were self inflicted. I was rushing, with focus on reshaping the intake area. So I knew that re-scribing and filling will be necessary. To be honest, considering the complexity of the frame, this is actually really nice kit. the puttied bits are my doing the rest is click-clack.
  2. Lovely work and stellar presentation. Thank you for sharing. Cheers Martin
  3. I woke up and all of sudden the fuselage is assembled... not counting the nose section. ZM on the top
  4. Another belated birthday gift, this time from a good friend
  5. You guys really think that this was a battle damage?
  6. Those will be taken care of by our new land shark. Soon or later
  7. That looks bloody real Rod, stunning finish, Bravo! Martin
  8. Out of curiosity I picked up these two.
  9. Also, I appreciate the choice of marking.
  10. X2. the weathering is bang on, winter/ muddy style.
  11. That mustard is an absolute necessity. It’s magical like the unicorn tears and equally expensive since it’s made by Tamiya.
  12. Ammo weathering products work great , although it is just a replacement of wet wash weathering for lazy people like Martin . Clear gloss with thinner, some paint and artistic pastel are the main ingredients. In case you want to mix them yourself.
  13. The title of this build should be changed to "When I grow up, I want to be a hurricane"
  14. I have lots of keen childhood memories of Amiot 146 as I was trying to glue the windows not 1/72 scale Smer kit.
  15. This is one those departures that are hard to believe. Ozzy has become a household item, like the Queen Elizabeth for instance. Well , his music will last forever . Thank you Ozzy.
  16. I see what you did there Hubert. PM inbound
  17. Few days ago I found 1/48 Revell/Dragon Horton for measly $50, so I gave it a shot. which was a major blunder. so off she goeees I chuck it into the bin just seconds before the truck moved in. liberating
  18. The nose needed more help. I decided to adjust the glazing so it can resemble the typical egg plane look more closely. these are just baby steps I don’t want to remove too much material. I know that the centre belly part should be more pronounced, but that opens a brand new can of worms. The R4 gun pod should mask it sufficiently.
  19. As I said before, a labour of love. Well done Hubert. She's a beauty. Cheers Martin
