  1. Have to admit i have a ever increasing stash of Revell Fw190's. But the Hasegawa A5 and A6 (and A7) kits are as rare as hens teeth here in the UK. So on that basis (other than i love wurgers) you just HAVE to finish the A3
  2. Yeah surprised me too. I'd probably go down the Eduard or HGW route next for belts but for a OOB i think they look ok.
  3. Thanks to Winco for allowing me to do this. I started this build a few months back before i joined LSM. But as you will see. I've not got very far lol. I've always liked the old 1/48 Revell (Ex Dragon) Fw190 G8 kit box art. So now Revell have their 1/32 F8 kit i thought i'd convert it to a G8. Not exactly a lot to do really. Plus it gives me a chance to have a play around with the engine, which is something i've never done before. On a plus note. I thought the kit seatbelt decals were going to look horrendous. But actually they didn't look that bad. Not HGW standard. But acceptable for a virtually OOB build. So here we go. A little catch-up to show where i am with this build. Please be gentle. I know my limitations/skills as a modeller Here is the box art i love so much. And here is a few pics to show you what i'm doing.
  4. Oh i'll defo ask questions. I like to try and add little bits to my Fw190 builds
  5. (Somewhere) on my bench is a 1/32 Revell Fw190 F8 trying to be converted to a G8. Also my youngest sons 1/72 Revell P-51. Need a little bit of a tidy up me thinks.
  6. Cheers for the welcome guys. Krow113.... Nice engine. I'm more of an BMW 801 guy personally. The A8 floats my boat more than any other. Presently playing around with a Revell BMW 801
  7. Not sure if this is the right place so if not. Admin please move. Just joined the site after a long while looking/lurking. Some of you might know me/recognise the name from other forums. Live in Scotland and work as a farmer. Been model making for a while now after a longish break and (try to) build LSMs. Always on the lookout for Fw190 builds. A sad obsession of mine. Anyway. Hello and good to be here. Al
