  13. Thnx for the link Erik. A francophile.... I should have known... Here's the fuse with the wings on. I used giant rubber biscuits to throw you guys off and make this build look like a 1/72. Did it work?
  14. Pictures speak louder than words. (even in your case)
  15. Been waiting for this! Lovely! This way they at least make up for lost business after the Revell offering hit the market.
  16. Please no Tamiya's new release chat.... I'd rather have you show me your medal collection again...
  17. Another fine fine build. Very subtle. Love it. Still in the middle of this kit myself, but put aside for some nice WnW distraction. Just recieved the Sopwith Snipe (thank you you know who!). So I don't think my spit will progress any time soon. Thnx for the pics!
  18. Hi Nick, I don't believe so. Master models has the turned brass. Easy for the Spandau's but the Vickers had grooves along the length which is more difficult to replicate. And to be honest: brass would not add much realism to them. Aber makes some really nice Spandau sets, but not for the early Spandau...
  19. I had this carved by Doug Cranes. Took a week i believe. I sanded it down again and sprayed it with micro gloss after i added the decals.
  20. You Jim annoy me even without a box of real medals...
  21. Ohhh... Started this kit years ago.. well not this one. The Tamiya version. With Eduard, Lion Roar and Friul model tracks. Half finished. Stashed. Stalled. Will follow this!
  22. Thnx Guys, Just recieved the Blue Max (Pour le Merite) medal to go along with this build. Immelmann was awarded this medal. I just bought it on Ebay (it's a replica by the way. Reall ones' are priceless)
  23. Wow!'! Right up my alley. Great work on the cables and woodwork. Yummy!
