Great review Nick. There are some typical Revell mishaps in there. Most of them easy fixes or in need of replacements. The nose cupola will be a difficult fix though. If that's what you feel is needed. Cheers, Jeroen

Wings are ready for weathering. Right now working on the HGW enhancements for the bomb-racks. Nice stuff. It really adds a lot of detail which I think it can use. Especially if you don't attach all the bombs and leave some spaces open, like I will.

Micro Sol and Set are still the best thing in town. That.. and a lot of patience. I'm decalling my Ninak now. I'm taking the whole evening for just the rudder, but the result is worth it. It takes up to an hour for the decal to wrinkle to the max. Then another hour for it to set. Patience. That's it. Humbrol and all other brands I have don't give the same results. No hairdryer or Q-tips. You might ruin the decal. Well.. this is just my experience.

Hi Erik, I believe to recall these Shermans did not carry a lot of stowage. I'm a little bit out of the armour modelling, but still enjoy looking at a delicately weathered piece of armour though. One day I might just try my hand at 1/35 again. So. You're (planning on) building a Sherman?
